" THAT GIT!" James bellowed hi wand at the ready " i- should go see if lily's all right?" he said " i' m mean are you all right?"
contrary to how you were feeling you nodded, you couldn't blame James but in all sincerity you wanted him to give you one of his infamous hugs. But he wanted to go see lily.
"y/n-" Remus started but now that the conversation was nearing it' s end there really wasn't much to say.
"walk me to dinner?" you said holding you arm out
"fine." he mumbled under his breath and you two started to walk, " if Sirius finds out he'll go on a killing spree."
"It's not like it doesn't happen all the time."
"more than once?!" he yelled holding you closer.
"Remus, it's practically a routine, you go outside you expect it. "you shrugged "now can we talk about anything else please?"you begged too tired to think about anything else
"anything else?" a twinkle in his eye
"oh no."you laughed " what have i done?"
"well okay... so i have a plan."
"for?"
"the party this weekend, Peter snuck in some firewhiskey and well obvious it's going to get- well you know... I was thinking, we set loads of chocolate frogs loose, Sirius' bane, and watch as the chaos unfolds."
" a few frogs? that' s first year nonsense. We can curse the frogs! touch one and..."
" YOU TURN INTO THE LAST THING YOU ATE!" you both simultaneously yelled, causing people in the halls to turn their heads making you giggle.
"y/n?" a small voice from behind you said, you turned around still catching you breath.
" hm?" you saw a tall boy with dark hair, his blue eyes stood out. he was wearing a ravenclaw uniform... in fact, you were sure you had divination with him. "Tristan... right?"
"yeah!"he smiled causing turning a bit pink, "well, so, i heard about the party gryffindor was having, i- well... a few of my friends invited me... and i was wondering i-if you wanted to go? with me i mean." he smiled
you laughed a bit witch made him look down and then moved away from Remus, "that sound fun-"
"being in another common room is against the rules"Remus said indignantly.
you turned to Remus, "as apposed to setting dozens cursed of frogs loose?"
"frogs?"Tristan asked
"um yeah, well it's kind of a plan.. it's-"
"you don't need to worry about it."Remus huffed
"will you stop interrupting me?"you crossed you arms then looked at Tristan again, "sorry it's almost his time of the month"you laughed, realizing as he was politely laughing with you, he had no idea what you were talking about. "um right i think that'd be a really fun idea!"
Tristan was relatively attractive, you'd heard some ocker room talk on him. flowers, opening door, pulling out chairs, he was a gentlemen.
"great! um, perhaps we could go to the library tomorrow as well? i-i'm having trouble on my tea leaves essay, and y-you're just brilliant." he said
you blushed at the complement and nodded, "meet me there at three?"
"sounds like a date." he smiled at you and nodded to Remus
Remus took your hand and groaned, "y-you're just brilliant." he whined, "please, sounds like a date!" he made his voice nasally and twiddled his fingers.
