A young man named Ivan Braginskii was always a loner with only three friends and two sisters. One day he was walking through the cold snowy streets of Svetlogorsk, Russia, with his sisters Natalia and Katyeshia to grab some food for dinner. He was off in his own world not bothering to listen to Katyeshia and Natalia argue over what to make for dinner until he felt his scarf get tugged with force causing him to fall back. "Really you two? What do you want and tell me without pulling my scarf." Ivan said while getting up and dusting the snow off of himself. "Well Ivan, maybe you should pay attention to us when we call you!" Kat said while putting her hands on her hips and puffing out her cheeks slightly. Natalia looked at her younger siblings with a worried smile, "Maybe we should all calm down, da? There is no need to fight." She said while stepping in between the two. Katyeshia sighed and huffed in childish anger, while Ivan nodded and placed a smile on his face. Natalia smiled at her siblings and marched onward towards the market. Katyeshia followed while Ivan stayed behind listening to the voices in his head until-, "IVAN!" Katyeshia yelled and Natalia quickly turned around embarrassed for her younger sister's actions. "Hm? Oh, coming." Ivan said calmly and walked to them. Natalia was shocked, she has never seen Ivan calmer than now. It sort of frightened her but she couldn't help but push that in the back of her mind seeing also how Ivan is growing up. Ivan walked past his little sister with a blank expression on his face that sent shivers down Katyeshia's spine. She looked at Natalia and looked a little bit scared but she didn't want to seem weak so she quickly put back on her little mad persona. Natalia saw the scared expression but didn't want to draw attention to it so she followed Ivan with Katyeshia on her side. "This is it, da?" Ivan said as he pointed to the market, "Yup! This is it!" Natalia said smiling and took the lead again with Kat still on her side. Ivan followed his sisters looming over them so nobody tried to grab them. Natalia noticed this and smiled, "Aww thanks for protecting us, Ivan!" Natalia said smiling and giggling. Katyeshia smiled a little while Ivan tried to hold back a smile but failed and showed a small grin. "Dobryy den' Braginskiis," a salesman called to them, ", care for any fresh vegetables?" The man said with a smile. "Da, thank you very much!" Natalia said with a smile and started to grab the vegetables while Katyeshia was messing with the snow and Ivan was in his own world listening to the voices. "Proshchay! Have a good night!" Natalia said waving and smiling. "Okay now we need some beef and some noodles then we can go home and make the stroganoff!" She said and continued walking getting all the things they needed then heading home to make dinner and go to bed. Once they made it to their little house outside of town Natalia and Ivan started to cook while Katyeshia watched TV in the living room. After dinner was completed and eaten the three siblings began to clean up and get ready for bed. Natalia did the dishes while humming an old Russian lullaby that she heard when their parents were still around. Katyeshia was in her room in her PJs and laying down when she heard something odd outside of her bedroom window. She looked out of her window and saw what looked to be a dead animal of sorts she backed up and started to run to Ivan. "BROTHER!" She yelled to her older brother. "Da Katyeshia?" He said as he turned to her "Th-there was something d-dead outside of my window. It looked like a dead animal.." She said as she trembled and had tears in the corners of her baby blue eyes. Ivan looked at his little sister never seeing her as scared as she was now and it worried him. "I will go look at whatever it was and move it." Ivan walked out of their home and to the back of the house seeing the dead thing and almost throwing it up but he held it in as he got closer he saw it wasn't an animal, but a human. Ivan felt sick to his stomach and looked away towards the tree line that fenced in their home trying to see if there were any signs of who did this. He knew he couldn't call the police or they would think either he or his sisters would've done it. He stomached up all his courage and took the body into that tree line to hide it. The feeling of guilt overwhelmed him but he had to stay strong. He started to walk back towards the house when he saw a window open but he thought it was Natalia trying to cool down the house a little. He didn't mess with it and headed for the inside, but when he heard Natalia scream then he started to run. When he made it inside he saw nothing at first then ran to the kitchen and saw something he hoped was a nightmare. Natalia was on the ground surrounded by a pool of blood dying her dirty pixie cut blonde hair red, her once periwinkle colored eyes pushed into her sockets, and a deep slash on her chest showing her insides a little. He started to tremble and breathe heavily knowing this was reality and there was no stopping it. He ran to Katyeshia's room, but he was too late. He saw Natalia's murderer holding Katyeshia up with her pleading for mercy and to stop, "Why should I?" a male voice said. He saw the killer then slam her into the wall multiple times smashing her head inwards causing blood to splatter everywhere and dying her long flowing bleach blonde hair red then grabbed a broken pipe and started to stab it into Katyeshia then threw the pipe behind him and grabbed her arms, then snapped them in half with a bone sticking out and Katyeshia's cries stopping with gurgling blood sounds to silence them. The killer turned to face Ivan and walked toward him. Ivan was fuming with hatred towards that monster and grabbed the broken pipe and ran at him diving the broken pipe into the stomach of the being then pulled it out and started to drive the pipe slowly into the heart hearing him beg for mercy which made Ivan laugh and stop looking him dead in the eye with his silver-blonde hair falling in front of his cold dark blue eyes. . . "Why should I?" Ivan said and took out the pipe and got down on his knees and put his hand into the chest wound going deep, hearing the man's screams slowly dying down and pulled his fist out and slammed it back in hearing a crack and squishing sound. Ivan stood up and stomped his foot on the man's stomach wound seeing blood splatter. He stopped and heard the voices congratulate him and tell him to leave, so he did. He walked outside and into the dark fog with hatred and sick bloodlust coursing through his veins and the pipe stained with blood in his hand.
