Maybe it's his eyes, his magnificent, crystal-blue eyes that are somehow deeper than the bottomless sea...
Maybe it's his warm embrace and the way he holds on to me so tightly, never wanting to let me go; the way his heartbeat sounds pressed to my ear...
Maybe it's his charming, sparkly smile and genuine laugh...
Maybe it's his soft lips pressed against mine and somehow we stop time...

Maybe all of these are the reasons that I am in love with him.
Or perhaps there is more?
Like his personality, kind and compassionate... genuine but sarcastic...
Yes, maybe it's all of these reasons.

Damn it, I'm so in love with him.

His name is Dylan. Dylan Wright. And I've never been so head-over-heels about anyone before. He stole my heart with just a simple "hello." And that's how it all began.

We met two years ago over the summer at a common friend's pool party. I literally ran into Dylan at least three times; the first time was just a bump, the second time I spilled my drink on him, and the third I tripped and fell into him. God, it was so embarrassing. But for some reason, he still wanted to get to know this clumsy girl. So by using his charm, Dylan smoothly asked for my number. I'll admit that I was a bit hesitant about giving my number to a boy that I just met, rather unofficially, but I gave it to him anyway.

Dylan and I talked on the phone that night for three hours, getting to know the basics about each other. Before hanging up, Dylan told me how he'd really been enjoying getting to know me and he wanted to hang out with me the next day so we could learn more about each other. Of course I debated about this, but he seemed trustworthy, so I said yes.

My parents weren't too pleased to hear that I was going to hang out with a boy that I had only just met, so I had to sneak out. Which, in the end, they caught me and I ended up grounded for two weeks. (Totally worth it!)

Dylan and I hung out at the park and learned more of the deep stuff about each other. Dylan had moved from Michigan to here, Tennessee, two months ago, missing the end of his sophmore year in high school. He had to take some summer classes here and there, but he was able to make up the last month and pass sophmore year. We found out that we would be attending the same high school in the fall.

After that day, we continued to hang out every week for the rest of the summer; our friendship kept growing stronger.

Junior year started and, to our luck, we had nearly every class together. We became best friends, and soon romance began to brew between us. Four months later, we began to date.

At first it was awkward because I'm just an awkward person who had never been in a relationship before. But over a month passed and I fell deeply in love with Dylan and everything about him.

Junior year has come to pass and it is now the summer before senior year. We've only been dating for about six months, but it feels like we've been together forever. And it feels like we will be together for time to come.
