Chapter 4

1 month later

So I decided to keep Payton just because I can't get Rid of her she's my everything she's my little girl. Other hand I quite school and football which sucked I'm talking online school so I can be with Payton I'm not dating anybody I just can't have another person in my life right now. Payton is now 3 months old she is getting big my mom made a little room for her I have to get up every time she cries to check on her. I'm thinking about just putting her crib and everything in my room so that I could keep an eye on her. Before I went to get something to eat I found something in Payton's crib from when I got her it was a note from Kelsey it read

Dear Hayes

The reason I'm giving you Payton is because after I had her I got really sick and the doctors thought I wasn't going to make it through her birth so I had a c section but turns out I did and then when I came home from the hospital I felt really sick the reason I didn't tell you I was pregnant was because I thought you would leave so I didn't want to get hurt plus my mom kicked me out of the house so I had to go to my brothers here's some more things about Payton
• her full name is Payton Leigh Grier
• she was born July 27,2013 she was 7 lbs 8oz at 10:30 am
• she loves to be held so hold her as much as you can
• she's a very quiet and sweet baby so she won't cry a lot
• she will love Anyone that she meets (just like her father)
• she's just plain old precious and very fragile

God I love her so much I just wish I could touch and kiss her. I fell asleep on the couch with Payton on my chest my mom took a picture I posed on Instagram saying

That night I was eating with my family and the only thing I could think about was Payton.

H: yeah just thinking about things
N: she will be fine she has a wonderful father that loves her
H: I know Nash but what if I screw up and when she gets 14 or even 16 she gets pregnant what will I do
N: Hayes she's 3 months she's still a baby love her while you still can
H: she needs a parent that is mature and that will love her
N: Hayes you are the most mature 14 year old boy I know and you love her to death I see what you do for her Hayes your her father she needs you

When I go t to my room I went to check on Payton then I got on twitter

I fell sound asleep I woke up 4 hours later to Payton crying I held her wishing Kelsey was with me right now I went on twitter and read comments

@samsbabygirl- aww Hayes she is so cute
@ hayleygrier- your an amazing father to little Payton she loves you to death love ya
@georigapeaches- remember me I'm the girl you made out with at that party 3 months ago and didn't tell Kelsey

That comment got me concerned I went on her profile I found a picture she had long blonde hair and blue eyes omg I thought to myself that's Lexi georigapeaches is Alexis Marie Taylor her number was on twitter I called It

A: hello
H: leave me and Payton alone
A: well Hayes since Kelsey is dead maybe I can be her mother
H: no Lexi
A: come on Hayes you need a girlfriend just give me a chance
H: I don't need a girlfriend I have Payton that's all I need in my life is my baby girl
A: well I can be your princess
H: no Payton is
A: come on please Hayes
H: fine come over to my house now

I hung up and unlocked the back door I went to my room picked up Payton rocked her back and forth I heard Lexi coming upstairs and came into my room
A: hey
H: hey
A: awe is this Payton
H: no Lexi it's the neighbors daughter I'm just watching her till she turns 18
A: oh umm wanna have sex
H: umm why
A: I want a baby so bad
H: no I'm not having sex with you get it of my house now

She left and I locked the doors and went to sleep the next morning I went to Starbucks with Nash I had to drag Payton along. There was this girl that looked much like Kelsey it wasn't funny I went over and talked to her

H: hello
A/N: hey ur Hayes right my sister before she died told me so much about you
H: wait your Adrianna Kelsey's sister
A: yep that's me how did you get Payton oh and before Kelsey died she wanted me to give you this

It was another letter is said

Dear Hayes

I really hope Payton will grow up to be a beautiful young lady I hope you treat her good I gave you Payton because I wanted you to raise her I wanted her to know who her father was my parents wanted to raise her but I told them no I was sending her to you I'm going to watch over you guys in heaven I'm going to see how an amazing father you are going to be to Payton I love you both you guys are my everything I wrote a letter for Payton to read when she turns 18 it's in her dipper bag put it somewhere safe once again I love you both
