I was playing with Payton in my room when the door bell rang it was a package I had Payton in my arms trying to open it. The box was filled with baby toys and a blanket and I letter that said

Dear Hayes

Thank you so much for taking care of Payton here are some toys and her favorite blanket one more thing I will not be coming back for her you will have to take her under your arm I'm not doing good right now and I don't have much time to live I'm really not traveling the world I just told you that so you wouldn't send her back I only have about a week to live please be the best father you can be to her please don't let me or her down

I love you and Payton with all my heart again thank you so much and don't let our baby girl grow up without a mom get married to a good women give Payton a sibling I love you guys so much

I was crying by the end she's dying Kelsey the love of my life the mother to my child is dying I need to go see her I need to say goodbye. I went online and found her address I booked a plane ticket me and Payton. Our plane left in an hour I got everything packed I'm only staying up there for 2 days I can't see her die. We got on the plane and I fell asleep.

We got off the plane and went to a cab I buckled Payton up she was still sound asleep. We got to Kelsey's house I grabbed Payton and got out of the cab. I went and knocked on the door. James Kelsey's brother answered.

J: long time no see my sister is in there

He pointed to the bedroom when I got there I just wanted to burst into tears she was hooked up on IVs and everything under the sun was sticking out of her

H: yeah Kelsey it's me
K: I'm sorry my sight isn't good
H: it's ok baby just relax
K: Hayes can you kiss me so you can be my first and last kiss

I leaned next to her bed and put me lips on hers I started to feel hot tears coming down my eyes this will be my last time I get to put my lips on hers I knew it and she did to not long after that the monitor started to beep and then it went silent she was dead
