Little Explosions [kiribaku]

Chapter 4

I got out of bed, eager to watch everyone try their best today. I hope Bakugo does well. I walked over to my closet and grabbed the UA training uniform and slipped it on, being gentle around my bandages. I turned to look at myself In the bathroom mirror and I looked even flatter than normal. I smiled to myself as I left my dorm, and walked with a few other students down to the training building.

          It had been a while since we've done hero vs. villain battles, I know everyone in the class is probably buzzing with excitement. I smiled as I stared at the green grass outside and the warm sun. A few birds chirped in the distance. Even if I couldn't fight, I could make today a good day.

        I walked with a few students I didn't know the name off to the building. They were from class 1B, so I didn't know them. They looked pretty cool though, they probably had some pretty powerful quirks.

        I held open the doors to the training center for a few girls, who thanked me as they walked in. I sheepishly smiled as I head in and met with the class as well. It was manly to hold doors open for ladies, and I didn't mind it that much so I did it whenever I got the chance.

        Denki, Mina, Deku, and Todoroki were here, and talking to each other in the corner of the building. I strolled over to them but didn't join in their conversation.

A couple minutes later and the whole class was here, along with Aizawa and All Might. I know he was a teacher here, but every time I saw All Might in person I still got embarrassed and insanely happy. He was the number one hero! I'd be crazy not to have that reaction.

Bakugo stood the furthest from me, ignoring me and staring intently at All Might. It hurt, only a bit. I still reminded myself that he didn't need to see me this weak.

"Alright students, we're doing another mock hero vs. villain training day. You'll be sorted into groups and given roles you need to play, but you'll go twice so you get to be both hero and villain. The only catch? There's going to be a third person in your group, who the hero needs to rescue and the villain has to try and 'kill'." Mr. Aizawa explained, all of us listening intently.

Dammit! This was going to be so much fun and I couldn't fight along with them! I looked down and grumbled to myself.

"Kirishima, unfortunately you can't participate due to recent injuries. However you can watch from the sidelines with me and All Might." Mr. Aizawa explained, his eyes showing hints of pity.

I hummed a little yes as the rest of the class took their gaze off of me. I'm sure they were all wondering why I got hurt.

"Now, we're going to be in a city environment. Try and minimize damage as much as possible, please." All Might explained.

"Now! Let's go!" Mr. Aizawa explained, walking off to the training grounds as we all followed him.

        I took a seat in a small room overlooking the mock city, a big TV broadcasting the inside of the building where the victim was hidden. Mr. Aizawa sat on the left side of me in his sleeping bag and All Might sat to the right. I slumped back in my chair and sighed. I wish I could be down there with them.

        Aizawa leaned in to a microphone on the desk in front of him and announced, "Alright! First battle, Villain Momo Yaoyorozu vs. Hero Mina Ashido! The victim is Denki Kaminari!"

         This was going to be an interesting battle to say the least. The victim wasn't allowed to use their quirk at all, but if they had gotten saved by the hero and were making their way out of the building with a still-attacking villain they could. That's what made being the villain a much harder task, as if you failed to kill the victim you were now stuck in a 2 v 1 position.
