　All he asked for was a simple embrace.

　A warm hug that would keep the coldness of this cruel Jujutsu world away. A pair of arms engulfing his aching body. A gentle touch that could melt his frozen heart.

　All he had always been asking for was a mere embrace.

　Yet, why?

　"You are my one and only bestfriend."

　Sequences of words escaped those lips in a whisper, almost inaudible despite their close proximity. Long arms wrapped his body in a comforting hugーat least that was what Satoru attempted to do, but Suguru's severely injured body made it almost impossible.

　"At the very least, cursed at me a little more, Satoru."

　Suguru's reply came in a hoarse voice. His lungs screamed in pain for each breath he took. And yet, he smiled, a subtle curvy line across his palid visage.

　Ah, was it the end?
　It seemed so.

　Black dots started painting his sight, taking over until he saw nothing but a solid darkness. His breath, once ragged and heavy, was no more.

　Suguru welcomed his end in the loving embrace of his one and only bestfriendーof The Strongest Shaman Alive.

　All he asked for was a simple embrace.
