Juniper

The team made it to the pilot area after landing two hours after the mission was complete.
The others of our team had to be taken into the ER. Artemis, Sasha, Ethan and, Bryce.

"Juniper!" I heard.
I saw Finn sprinting to me. I stopped in place and dropped my duffel bag from my shoulder.
I began to sob as I pulled my arms out and caught him in my arms.
I held him tightly and he pulled back. "Hey... what happened?"
I shook my head and dropped my head on his shoulder.

Next day

Kai

"Hey, kid..." I walked into the little girl's hospital room.
She waved at me softly. "Hi."
"How are you feeling?" I sat at the edge of her bed.
"I'm okay." She shrugged. "What happened to the nice lady?"
"She's..." my voice broke "resting." I looked down at the girl "What's your name?"
"Nova."

Two hours after hanging out with Nova till she fell asleep; I went to see Artemis.
She had gauzes on the side of her head and bandages in areas I couldn't see.

I sat next to her hospital bed and memories of our childhood flashed in my head.
Playing in the field,  Artemis cheering at my volleyball games,is just acting like total goof balls.

I flinched in my chair when Ivan was at the door. "Hey." He said.
I waved softly. "Any news? On any of them?"
"Bryce and Ethan are awake." He stood at the foot of the bed. "Sasha is still out and the other's are healing at home. Coping, recharging their powers and energy, resting overall. You should go home too."
I shook my head with my hands to my mouth and my elbows on my knees.
He sighed and left me alone in the room.

Rachel

I was laying alone in my apartment bedroom when I heard my entry door open. "Rachel?" I heard Opal in my living room.
Footsteps came closer and my bedroom door opened.
"Hey, buddy." Opal sat at the edge of my bed "I tried to get to Keith but...he won't answer the door."

"You gotta get up and get some air." She rested her hand on my shoulder.
"Please leave." I pulled the covers over my head and cried silently.
I felt Opal stand up and make her way away from my room. "Just call me if you need anything."

Finn

"Juniper?" I had a two cups of warm coco in my hands as I slowly made my way into her apartment bedroom.
She was sat at the edge of the bed facing the window with her bonsai tree I took care of while she was gone. "I couldn't do anything..." She said soft as I set eh cups on the nightstand and sat next to her. "I...I was useless."
"You were unconscious..." I said and rested my hand on her back "You couldn't do anything-"
"Exactly!" She yelled and jumped off the edge and faced me. "I'm one of the reasons my teammates are fight for their lives. I...did...nothing."
I stood up and hugged her tightly. "It's not your fault..." I whispered and she sobbed in my chest. "None of it was."
"If I just did more." She sniffled and pulled back with my arms still around.
I shushed her repeatedly and ran my hand down her head and back.

I held her with my chin on her hair.
Her blonde dyed hair with a boy and under cut with her roots peaking.

Bryce

I groaned as I woke up and leaned my head to stretch.
I was shocked to see Evelyn asleep in the arm chair next to me.
"Ev'?" I let out softly.
"Hm?" She opened her eyes with flickering blinks and looked up sleepily. "Your awake!"
"How long have you been here?"
"An hour I guess." She shrugged "I came here just after Ethan fell asleep."
"How is he doing?" I asked.
"The same ol' annoying brother I grew up with." We both chuckled.

"I'm sorry..."
"For what?" She snickered.
"I couldn't save him." I teared up.
"Hey." She came on the edge of the bed and wiped my tears away. "He's alive and well. That's what matters. You helped him." I sniffled and set my hand on hers. "How about you get some more rest? Once you're out of here; I treat you to a nice meal."

Ivan

"Babe?" I came into mine and Urania's apartment with lunch.
I came into the bedroom and saw her sat with her laptop. "Urania," I sat the food on the bed "you should be resting."
"We can just attack the lesser bases because we took down the leading-"
"What...what are you doing?"
"We need to act now" She answered with a hyper and panicking voice "They might attack Atlas and my family is going to die and-"
"Hey. Hey." I shut her laptop as she began to sob. "You're family is going to be fine." I hugged her tightly. "They made it. They survived. Everything is going to be okay."

Nick

I snuck into Sasha's hospital room without her team knowing.
"Hi..." I said to her even if she couldn't hear me. "I just wanted to stop by."
I sat in the armchair as my head got used to the beeping monitor.
"I have a confession..." I leaned over my knees. "Um...I don't really know where to start. Even if you can't hear me it's nerve recking" I cleared my throat "I get butterflies even seeing you. When you sneak into the kitchen after your training, the season festivals, even in the halls. I never met someone who loved my food not just because of the taste but of the work I put into it. What really got me about you was that personality. Willing to give up anything for anyone, goofy but serious when intended. Just everything about you. I know that you or no one could love or even like some random side character that just cooks for a living. What do I have to offer? I'm not a soldier, health care worker; I don't benefit anyone. You do. You're on the universe's strongest team. You do more than I can even imagine doing. I just wish I could do more or be more to prove that I am somebody who cares for you. But I'm just a chief. A nobody."
