Artemis

"The other Atlas teams across the Galaxy are taking care of the remaining bases on the AGC." I walked to the head of the meeting room with former Atals Elites, my team, and other leaders of the squads sat or surrounded the table.
"What will we do, Commander?" A protection squad captain asked.
"My fellow Elites and I will discuss that with our Atlas Team." I said "Till then, you are all dismissed."

A year after the battle me, Kai, Rain, Cyrus, Rachel, Bryce, and, Harmonia became Atlas Elites
Kai and I - Officers
Rain - Medical
Cyrus and Harmonia- Pilots
Bryce - Protection
Rachel- Tech

The other remaining elites positions were given to people my team is unfamiliar with.

A majority of us left our studies from when we were teens and joined the AOE training.

Logan

"Nice of you to join us." Artemis said after she easily beat me in a training battle.
I rolled over on my stomach while laying on the mat and saw Finn and Nick coming in with bags.
"We brought you guys lunch." Finn said.
"I cooked." Nick smiled.
I got back on my feet as we all got out our distribution of food.

Nick

I smiled at my teammates as they ate the sandwiches I prepared by hand when Sasha came up behind me and grabbed a bag. "Thanks babe." She kissed my cheek and walked off.
I froze and felt my face blush.

Beth chuckled. "What?" I was flustered.
"You still blush from affection." She teased.
"Shut up." I mumbled as she walked off.

Harmonia

"Are there any missions ready for us?" Finn asked as him and Nick joined us around the tables and mats.
Artemis shook her head. "We're still waiting on reports from other bases. Till then we need to stand by and be ready for anything."

Artemis

"I'm home!" I called after entering my apartment and setting my AE coat of the couch.
"Auntie Artemis!" Nova celebrated and ran out of her room and into my arms.
"Hey, sweetheart." I lifted her up.
"We were coloring." Kai came from her room and greeted me.
"Sounds fun." I kissed him.

Urania and Ivan adopted Nova since they looked over her for over a year and Nova considers her as her parents.
When they are work Kai and I watch over her; mainly Kai.

"Now, while you mom and dad are still working," I said and say her on our couch. "How about we watch a movie?"
She nodded cheerfully and looked up at me.

Kai

I smiled at that fact that Artemis is so good with kids.

We've only been dating officially for months but I really want to marry her. I know she'll say no; she needs more time. Plus work is a big thing too. We are both Atlas Officers and stress is a thing.

We were told if we have kids that it might not be possible if our kids or kid will have powers. Both her and my powers are so strong and come from the black crystal. Of so much power is in one person it may kill them.
If our kids do powers they'll most likely have powers like Ethan and Beth or any of our teammates that don't come from the black crystal.

Ivan

"Yeah." Kai said with my sleeping daughter in my arms. "They fell asleep pretty early in the movie." He chuckled.
I smiled and rested my hand on the back of her head. "Are you sure you guys don't want to come to the vacation resort with us? It's only for a few days." He asked.
I shook my head. "Plus; Urania and I need to watch over Nova. She doesn't want anyone not on our team to watch her."
"Okay." Kai shrugged. "If there's any emergencies; just call us."

I nodded "Thank you so much for you guys always willing to watch over Nova while we're at work."
"It's no problem." He shrugged. "I should sleep; we have a early flight."
"Hope you guys have fun."

Kai

I grunted and lifted Artemis sleeping body and tucked her in bed.
"Good night, my love." I kissed her forehead and walked to my room and slept.

We're still not in the point of our relationship in sleeping in the same bed.

Rain

"I call the biggest room!" Beth bursted in the large beach house at the resort.
"Not if I get there first." Logan ran after her.

"Why am I not surprised?" I asked as the team slowly came in the house and set out bags down.
"That's normal?" Finn said with concern.
"That's nothing." Juniper snickered and sat on the couch.

"So...what's first?" Artemis asked.
"I thought you called the shots." Delos sighed and sat next to his twin sister.
She scoffed "I'm on vacation for a few days. I'm not calling anything."
"How about we settle in and," Keith started "if we have time we can explore the area around us?"
"Tomorrow we can explore more." Sahsa shrugged and suggested.
"I'm okay with that." Opal smiled softly.

"Well," Delos and Artemis stood up "let's settle in and head out in a hour."

Bryce

I was putting mine and Evelyn's bags in the closet and I noticed her watching outside the window.

"You okay?" I asked; standing on the farthest side of the bed.
"The only place I been to out of Atlas was space." She said with her back still facing me and her hands on the window sill. "Space is amazing; getting to see some many new planets and individuals. But Atlas is all I've ever known. I was raised there. This is the first time I've been out of the Atlas border without a mission to follow. I don't want the generations to go through that. Like Nova. She's a strong spirit, she deserves to explore. None of us who grew up in Atlas haven't even felt rain on our skin."
"I'm sorry-" I said softly.
She turned to me with em tears and a smile on her face. "No. I'm happy. For me and my team. Most of the team had gone through the same. Even the Wright's. Atlas is our tower that we had lived in for all our life. This is like seeing a new planet."

I smiled softly. "Let's go and explore shall we?" I reached my hand out.
She chuckled and grabbed my hand before rushing downstairs and outside of the large beach house.

Kai

"She looks adorable". I thought as I was behind Artemis unpacking her things.
"Hey, babe." I snuck up behind her and wrapped my hands around her waist.
I felt her tenses up and flinch. "Hey...are you okay?" I pulled back and faced her to me. "Sorry I didn't mean-"
She shook her head. "It wasn't you." I stood silently with my hands on the sides of both of her arms. "Just the feeling of someone being behind me freaks me out."
"Sorry." I felt guilty "I didn't know about that part."
She shook her head softer and hugged me. "Just let me recharge my social bar for a second."
I blushed softly and rested one hand on the back of her head and the other on her back. "Sorry."
