How did I set to Hinata? My body was facing the net and my body bent sideways.

I'll be completely honest here though. How is that even possible? I think I defied physics.

After both of us did our homework where half the time was me trying to get Tanaka and Nishinoya to focus, the two decided to teach me some basics becayse the last time I played with them...

I threw the ball up and walked forward before hitting it.

Thump!

Again!

Thump!

And Again!

Thump!

"Ow!" I rubbed my head at my third time serving.

Both Tanaka and Noya just rubbed the back of their head at my attempts because the first one ended up going straight towards a tree, thankfully Tanaka slammed it down letting the ball bounce back to me.

My second attempt, my serve was weak.

"Y/n, hit it with the base of your palm!" Tanaka instructed and I nod.

"おす！" (Osu!)

The third was my attempt at a jump serve. I threw the ball up and stepped forward,

Right foot, Left foot,

Then Jump!

The boys hid their snickers at how I jumped, I got distracted by that and ended up missing the ball letting it fall to my head.

"I know I know! I really have no idea how to hit balls midair!"

"Don't worry Y/n, your Senpais will teach you how to serve and receive properly. Soom you'll get an A in volleyball!" The two had proud smirks, posing and looking proud.

Serving

So for the past hour, we worked on my serve. It was good since Nishinoya practices on receiving them, getting them up high enough for Tanaka to spike it for me to receive the ball, then serve again.

I was able to do decent serves, but even though I jump high--"for a girl", Tanaka's compliment, I can't seem to get the form how your arms should be  when you do a jump serve.

"Uh, sorry Y/n, I think you won't be able to get the hang of jump serves in just a couple of days..." Tanaka says.

"Well, if I can't do jump serves, I don't think I'll be able to spike any volleyballs at all." I frowned, and Nishinoya clapped his hands.

"Cheer up babe, we can still work on the rest, such as blocking. You do jump high as well." He points out and Tanaka-san agrees. I slightly turned pink when he called me babe.

"Besides, your serves are good enough to get the ball to the other side." Noya says.

"She's like a mix of Hinata, You," referring to Nishinoya, "and Asahi."

"Me?" Noya said.

Then the two decided to have a conversation about me, without me.

"Hello, she is over here you know."

Both of them look at me.

"How am I a mixture of all three of them?" I ask, hitting the ball again and again making it bounce from the ground.
