ch.2

You stared at his tall muscular figure in the distance, the sight of him making your heart melt. The perfect fitting green uniform and the cherry earrings brought a smile to your face. But faded just as quickly when you saw her. They were kissing, arms wrapped around each other. 

The sadness returned to your eyes and you hated to admit it but they were the perfect couple. You felt your heart shatter as they were sharing their long passionate kiss. You walked past them and made your way home. You opened the door and took off your shoes. You threw your school bag next to your shoes and made your way to the kitchen.

"Hey mom?" you screamed. No response. You sighed realizing she was probably at work. You walked to the fridge looking for something to eat. Nothing at all. You checked the pantry to make sure and the only thing you had was instant ramen. The thought of eating ramen again made you shudder.

You saw a little note on the table and it read "Hey sweetie here's 3,500 yen go get something to eat since we don't have anything I love you". At the bottom of the note was your moms signature. You smiled at the thought of having take out. You walked to your room and changed out of your uniform.

You settled on a cute black skirt paired with some white knee high socks, a white turtle neck, and Jojos coat. You shoved the money your mom gave you into the huge pockets of the oversized coat you were wearing.

You threw on some random shoes on and made your way outside. You lived near a whole bunch of restaurants and take out places. You started walking towards the restaurant district. You were exhausted and your feet felt heavy but you continued to walk. It was cold during this time of year and you started to regret your outfit choice.

You shoved your hands in the pocket of jojos coat. You felt a box of cigarettes and a lighter. A small smile crept on your face as you took them out. You carefully placed  one in your mouth and lit it. You look a long drag and stared at the long street with dull eyes.

The sky became very cloudy and you sighed. It was only five o'clock and you knew it was gonna rain. And just as you predicted, it began to rain. You shielded your cigarette from the rain and began to walk a bit quicker.

You heard heavy footsteps behind you and you began to panic. You wondered who it was and the persons steps started getting louder. You were wet and cold and having someone kidnap you was the last thing you needed. You saw the love of your life kiss and love another woman. You barely got to see your mom. You hated your life. You just ignored the footsteps and kept walking.

The rain hit your slick body hard. You were a shivering mess. You felt the rain stop and out of confusion you looked up to see an umbrella shielding you from the rain.

You felt someone touch your hand and your body went limp. The handsome familiar face of Kakyoin started at you with caring eyes

It was him.

You choked on the smoke of your cigarette and started to cough heavily. "Hey y/n san, I didn't mean to scare you. It looked like you didn't have an umbrella on you."

You took another drag from your damp cigarette and hummed a thank you. "What are you doing here?" You asked him. He was still in his uniform even though school ended around two or so hours ago.

"I couldn't help but notice that you needed    me." He said quietly. You shuddered at his response but kept your cool demeanor. "Thank you" you sincerely said.

You both began to walk, foot steps in sync. The quiet atmosphere being extremely uncomfortable.

"So where are you headed" He asked.

"Downtown, I was just gonna grab something to eat" You said with a smile on your face.

"I'll walk you" He said.
