ch.3

You awoke to the sound of your mom knocking on your door, signaling it was time to get ready for school. You sat up feeling embarrassment and shame. What you did last night made you feel extremely guilty. You couldn't face the two men who pushed you over the edge last night.

You finally stood up after a few minutes of going back and fourth with yourself. You walked to your closet and got ready for school. You put on your school uniform and sat on your bed. You thought about Kakyoin whilst you pulled up your thigh highs. You felt as if yesterday was a fever dream and it made you a little nauseous.

You pushed your emotions aside and made your way to the kitchen. Your mom sat at the table, sipping on her coffee. You hugged her from behind, which startled her.

"Good morning honey, there's some breakfast for you on the counter." She said while pointing at the plate.

"Thanks." You mumbled.

It was quiet which was weird, you knew she wanted to say something.

"What?" You said.

"I don't care what you do at night but keep it down." She said, looking directly at you.

You stared at her in horror.

"I don't know what you're talking about." You said, trying to leave the kitchen.

She stayed silent and after a while, she said okay.

You wanted to leave, so you decided to skip breakfast. You made your way to the front of the house and put your shoes on. You grabbed your school bag and walked out of the house.

You walked to Jotaro's house, you two have always walked to school together ever since you became friends. After a little bit of walking, you spotted the tall man.

You ran up to him and looped your arm around his.

"Hey Jotaro." You said.

"Let go of me, you bitch."

You frowned and let go. You began walking to school. Jotaro had a cigarette on the left side of his mouth. When you tried to reach for it, he pulled it out of his mouth and put it in yours.

This was his way of saying sorry.

You smiled and looped your arm around his again. He just grunted and pulled his hat down.

As you were getting to school, you threw the cigarette butt on the ground and stomped on it.

You and Jotaro walked into the huge building and made your way to the godforsaken classroom.

You were excited to see Kakyoin but you were also filled with anxiety and dread. Yesterday was great but you wondered what he would be like today. You also wondered if he told his girlfriend. It's not like he cheated or anything but you felt guilty.

You and Jotaro were outside the classroom but you got too nervous.

"Hey Jotaro, wanna go smoke on the roof?" You asked.

He ignored you and took a seat in the back of the classroom. You followed him, kinda upset he ignored you.

You looked at the couple.

You expected them to be hugging or holding hands while talking to their fellow peers.

But you were wrong.

She was on his lap and they were making out. You felt your heart shatter. You felt stupid for expecting change. Did you really think he was gonna break up with her for you. Maybe yesterday was just him trying to be polite.
