Weeks have passed after I treated David to a meal. I don't know how pero he’s been picking me up everyday sa school, as in everyday! Walang palya. Lagi syang maaga sa may tapat ng gate tapos lagi syang may small surprises for me, like food, flowers, chocolates and candies, and one time pa, may necklace sya binigay sakin! Hindi naman ako umaangal dahil I appreciate him a lot.
Ikaw ba naman ang regaluhan araw-araw tapos hatid sundo pa? Who am I to complain? Charot! Ayoko pa rin mag-assume. I want him to directly tell me what's the meaning of all of this.
Andito ako ngayon sa may cafeteria ng school namin to have a quick lunch dahil may tatapusin pa akong report ko for tomorrow. Ang hirap talaga mag-college! Ang hirap mag manage ng time.
Tahimik lang akong gumagawa ng may nag-text sakin.
David:
Hey, have you eaten lunch?
I smiled the minute I read his text. Grabe talaga sa ka-sweetan ang lalaki na ‘to! Ang haba ng hair ko ah. Nag-reply na rin ako kaagad,
Me:
Yep. Just a quick one, need to finish this report for tomorrow eh.
After that text, nagpatuloy na ako sa pag aaral for my report, as much as I want to have a convo with him right now, I can't. Study first and atake ni lodi.
*** AFTER 2 MONTHS ***
He held my left hand and kneeled, "Sofia, I know that it's been a while since I started courting you. We met by chance, we discovered each other's flaws, we fell in love with each other, but we can do more.. Sofia, will you be my girlfriend?"
A tear fell, I'm just so happy to be his girlfriend. Sobrang swerte ko kay David dahil sya ang magiging boyfriend ko, he treats me so well. I find peace and happiness in him. "Yes, David. I love you so much." I hugged him as I say my feelings for him. This is the first time that I told him that dahil ayoko pa kung hindi ko naman sya boyfriend.
Bumitaw ako sa pagkakayakap sakanya, he smiled at me intimately. "I love you more, Sofia. We'll be happy together." He kissed me slowly. It was short but it gave my goosebumps and it sent me straight to heaven. To be loved by him...
"Grabe na kayo! Nilalanggam na ako oh?" Napatingin naman kami kay Sarah, a friend of David na palagi namin nakakasama, most of the time actually. She's a happy go lucky type of girl kaya madali lang rin sya pakisamahan.
We both laughed at her reaction. She's always like that kapag 3rd wheel sya sa amin ni David. "Let's go eat?" David asked. Tumango nalang ako habang naka ngiti at humawak sa bewang nya as we walk. Finally, he's mine. Officially mine.
