Act 14: "The bond only got started"

It's a beautiful summer morning. Takumi wouldn't usually wake up early on his initiative, but something bothers him.

|6:38 am|
-Yaaawn..Takumi-kun..why are you awake,asks Sayuki with her eyes half open.
-It's nothing,Sayuki-chan. I couldn't sleep too well.
-Mmhhh,well come back here.
She pulls him back next to her,as he sat on the edge of the bed.
-Are you ok,Takumi? You can't sleep well next to me? whispers Sayuki to him.
-Naw,it's not that. I'm alright,don't worry,Takumi whispered back.
-Hug me,pleasee.
Takumi takes Sayuki into his arms,and tries to go back to sleep. His thought does bother him,but it slowly fades away as he occasionally opens his eyes and sees Sayuki sleeping peacefully with her arms around him.
"Why would he be bothered by a thought? asks Sayuki herself almost asleep. I don't know what it is,but I can tell it."

|8:22 am|
-Sayu..wake up. We have to go.
Sayuki doesn't even hear him. She turns around to the other side of the bed.
-Oh well....She looks so good in these pyjamas tho. It's cute. I'll go make you some breakfast.
Takumi tries to open the door and silently as possible,but Sayuki still hears him somehow.
-Takumii! Where are you going?
-Wake up ,Yuki. We have to take you home.
-Ugh...Already?
-Sadly yes.
-Hmph. Okay,I'm getting dressed. I'll leave your pyjamas on the office chair.
-Sure. I'll go make breakfast.
-Go on. I'll decide if you are a good cook.
Takumi goes downstairs,to make a morning meal. Bunta is already there,smoking a cigarette.
-Morning. What are you up to,Takumi?
-Good morning..I'm going to make breakfa-
-You're late. I already made it for you guys.
-Oh,r-really? Thank you dad..
-This is between us,but..I think she is right for you.
-So you like her already ,hm?
-She made a good first impression. I haven't made a final decision.
-Glad to hear that.
-Go to the kitchen and arrange the breakfast on the table. Do that at least.
Takumi immediately places the food. Now he just waits for his girlfriend to come down.
Footsteps are being heard as Sayuki comes down.
-Good morning, Mr. Fujiwara!
-Morning,Sayuki. Slept well?
-As long as it was next to Takumi,of course it was.
-Hm. You're very attached to him right?
-Guess so..
-Well,take a seat and have some breakfast.
-Oh this looks delicious. Who made it?
-Takumi. It's the first time he prepares food in this house.
-Hihi,well, I hope it's good.
-You'll decide it.
They enjoy a very good breakfast made by Bunta,but gives his son recognition. They have short talks,and shortly after she has to leave.
Takumi turns the Subaru on,letting it warm up a bit. The couple sits into the car.
-It was nice to meet you,Sayuki. You seem a good person.
-The honour is mine,mr. Fujiwara! I'm very glad I got to know you.
-Well,see you soon.
-I'll be back soon,dad.
Takumi drives away with his girlfriend. Sayuki is in a very good mood.
-Takumi,your dad is so nice!
-Hm. He definitely likes you. You should keep being like this.
-Like this how? Did I seem different from usual?
-No,I worded wrongly. I meant you should be just like you are.
-Ohhh okay..
-I'll stop at the gas station.
Takumi proceeds to  drive to the gas station where his friends work.
-Oh no..I forgot.
-Hm? What?
-Iketani and Itsuki work here. I hope they won't be nosy when they see us togheter.
-Oh come on,it's nothing. I don't even care.
-Really? Well,alright.. I won't be bothered if you aren't.
-Itsuki,look! Takumi came to see us!
-Takuuuumi-saaan!!! greets Itsuki loudly.
-Hold up,who is in his passenger seat?
Takumi parks next to the gas pump.
-Morning. How are y'all?
-Hey guys!!!
-Wo-WOAH!! SAYUKI???
-Oh lord...
-So you guys are now togheter??
-Umm,yeah...? What's wrong about it? Haven't you seen a cute couple? asks Sayuki revealing her confidence about her and Takumi.

Sayuki raises her eyebrow.
-Are you not gonna fill it up with high octane?
-Oh-o sorry!
Itsuki and Iketani clean the car and fill up the gas tank.
-Mind if we stay a little bit here,Sayuki? Takumi asks.
-I don't mind.  But it was rude they looked at us like that.
-We..We are re-really sorry! It's just surprising to see you both in a relationship..
-That's what you guys think?
-Yes,Takumi,replied Iketani.
-I didn't judge you and Mako tho! Hihi!
-Wait,Iketani-senpai! You're back with Mako?!

The group had a little small talk,then Yuichi,the boss sees them.
-Oi,guys! Are you here to work or to ta-
He is just as surprised as his employees to see Sayuki. Is that Takumi's girlfriend?
-Goo-Good morning,Takumi. Is this your girlfriend?
-Hm? Yes. Why?
-It's nothing. You guys look nice togheter.
-Thank you,replied Sayuki.
-Well,we have to leave. I'll come back later, guys. See ya.
-See you soon...answer both of them.
Takumi leaves,going to Sayuki's house.
-She...is really pretty...
-Isn't she,Mr. Yuichi?
-Takumi is lucky to have her.
-Guess so,says Itsuki almost jealous.

-We are here,Sayuki.
-Thanks again,Takumi. I had an amazing time with you.
-Same for me. Wait,I'll park the Impreza. I want to talk about something.
-Hm? What is it?
Takumi,while he stops the car on the driveway,asks:
-Sayuki,did they bring your Soarer home?
-Yep. It's in the garage. Wanna take a look at it?
-That's why I stopped.
Sayuki goes with Takumi to show him the Soarer,that is now in the garage.
-Well,luckily it doesn't seem that bad. I'll send some guys pick it up later. We have to start repairing it and tuning it.
-Okay. I'll pay i-
-Don't even say that. You're my navigator,I'm the driver. We split the cost in half.
-Are you sure,Takumi-kun?
-Yes. It's the only way.
-Thank you! I've been struggling with money this period of time and this really helps.
-Don't worry. I'll try to make it even more cheap.
-Good,Takumi. See you! I have to do some cleaning around the house.

Takumi hands her a bouquet of wisteria and a plushie panda.
-Aaawww!! Takumi! This is so so cute! Thank you!!

-The wisteria smells so nice! Give me a big hug,Takumi-kun.
The young couple has a sweet moment,but they have things to do. Sayuki waves as she enters the house. Takumi drives away,heading to Matsumoto.
"Now..Where was the garage...Aha!Right. I remember. Hope he'll make me a good offer."
Takumi drives In a hurry to the garage. He really wants to start the project as soon as possible. But soon isn't early enough. It's really exciting for him.

-Fujiwara! What a surprise to see you! Please,come in!
-Hello,Matsumoto.
-Please,take a seat.
-Thank you.
-How are you,everything okay?
-Yes. I'm perfectly fine. You?
-I'm good. Mechanic's life.
-Hah. I can see.
-Do you want a drink? A snack?
-No. I'm good. Thank you.
-Alright..With what occasion have you came here?
-A car. A Toyota Soarer.
-You've bought a new car?
-Nope. It's my girlfriend's car.
-I see...What's wrong with it?
-It got into a crash.
-Oh,what a shame. The girl is alright,yeah?
-Of course. So you see,Matsumoto, I was asking,could you help me repair it and tune it for touge races?
-Yeah,of course I can help you! In what style do you want me to tune it?

Takumi drives back home. His dad is making some tofu.
-I'm back ,dad.
-Alright. Where did you go now?
-Took my girlfriend back home and went to a garage to talk to a mechanic about repairing her car.
-I see. What is her car?
-A Toyota Soarer. The 1992 one.
-So she's also a toyota fan. Nice.
-Yep.
Takumi goes into his room,and sits at his office.
He calls Sayuki. She picks up almost instantly
-Yeah,Takumi-kun?
-Hi. I've talked to my mechanic and he said he will pick the Soarer up.
-Oh,great!
-Yup. He'll honk when he gets there. It's a white Mitsubishi truck.
-Alright,Takumi-kun. Thank you!!
-No problem,Sayuki. Are you okay?
-Yea. Just finished tidying the house.
-That's good. Does your body hurt in any way?
-Naw,I'm close to a full recovery.
-Glad to hear that. Talk to ya later,Sayuki. Call me when Matsumoto picks the Soarer up.
-Sure thing. Byee, I'm sending you kisses!
-Bye,Sayuki-chan.
Takumi hangs up.
-I think she is as enthusiastic as me,says Takumi to himself.
