Act 12:"Reputation against love"

Takumi slams his brakes. Nakazato follows him. He gets out of the car and confronts him.
-What do you want,Nakazato?
-Wa-Wait..You're Sayuki's boyfriend?
-Does that even matter to you? Why are you following me? Do you want a race?
-I do. But if I win,you'll have to never see her again.
-But if I win, you have to leave both of us alone.
-Agreed.
-Deal. Do you want to go in front or behind?
-Behind.
-Alright. This will be a cat and mouse race. You already know the terms.
-I do. Let's go.
As Takumi turns his back to Nakazato to go back to his car, Takeshi slowly approaches him and tries to backstab Takumi.
-TAKUMI!!! WATCH OUT!! screams Sayuki as Nakazato is trying to hurt him.
He doesn't proceed to wound Takumi,as he just realised his scissors weren't sharp.
-Nakazato...Did you just try..To backstab me with a blunt scissor?
Takeshi can't say anything. He just stares as his stupidity is beyond the limits.
-Are you for real? A blunt scissor? And behind my back? You're a shame of a man. Just-...go back to your car and race.
Nakazato runs realizing how stupid he is.
-Takumi,are you alright?
-I guess so. I'm okay.
-Let me see your back..You're good.He barely scratched your skin.
-That's good then. Sayuki,look at me.
-I'm looking. What's wrong?
-This is our first race togheter. I need you. So you're gonna be my navigator, just like you've been for Mako.
-Yes! You do know what I'll tell you during the race,right?
-I think you know better.Explain me.
-I'll tell you about the corners, if you are entering them perfectly,if the speed is right, if cars are coming in front..
-Okay. But please don't talk about other things or I won't focus properly.
-Got it.
Sayuki gives him a kiss on his cheek,leaving a mark of her lipstick.
-Good luck,my racer. Do your best.
Both of them line up,revving their engines.
Takumi honks once,twice,and on the third one.
He quickly shifts into 1st gear,blasting as a rocket. His Impreza's engine is roaring. First corners are easy so Sayuki doesn't say anything. She just observes his perfect driving. She then looks at his face, and he has no emotions visible. Just a normal figure.
"Nakazato will be lost at C121,..but will Takumi be able to drift it all the way with a 4WD car? I hope so.,thought Sayuki in her mind."
-No cars coming,Takumi,you can enter this corner! You have to exit it perfectly,it's a bit rough.
Takumi doesn't say anything. He remembers this corner. He does in fact most of them. Sayuki's instructions do nothing but make him totally sure on his driving.
He drifts into it godly and exits it just on the line Sayuki thought he would.
"Takumi widened the gap! Nakazato is fading slowly! said Sayuki in her mind while smiling. He is so much faster than Mako has ever been..She could put on a good fight but there's no chance she'd win."
With every corner he passes,Nakazato falls behind. The gap is getting wider and wider.
-Are you not gonna say anything,Sayuki? What happened?
-No,it's..nothing. I'm just admiring your driving..Be careful! This hairpin's exit is narrow!
Takumi nods his head. He does an immaculate exit. Sayuki does nothing but fall in love with the way he can make a car slide so perfectly.
-Nakazato is already far behind! Let's lose him in C121,the most difficult part!
-I really shouldn't had challenged him...I forgot he got better..It doesn't matter! If I'm gonna lose,they won't get away! says Takeshi furiously as he slams the gas pedal to the floor.
-What is that idiot doing? Doesn't he know about this corner?
-He..He's trying to crash into us! Do something Takumi!
Fujiwara also hits the gas pedal.
-Wha-What are you doing? Have you forgot about C121?
-You'll see. Don't say anything or we won't make it.
Takumi enters the corner with very high speed,followed by Nakazato.
"It's time,dad. I'll do it. The Fujiwara zone Ryosuke was talking about,but in a 4wd at full speed."
-That fool entered this corner at way too high speed. Does he even know what he is doing? It's time I hit his rear fender and force him to spin out..Wait,no. I'll hit the passenger side so I'll force him against the guard rail,because it's damaged! I'll make him fall over! plans Nakazato. Eight-Six of Akina,you're saying goodbye to this world. You,your Impreza and that girl!"
He is accelerating,but can't properly handle his accelerator precision. Hold on..We're halfway through the corner..And he's approaching the passenger side...Come on,where can I do it...I have to do it in the half of a second so a crash won't happen..Wait..So I have a 4WD,meaning the "Fujiwara zone" would be even more aggressive..wait. I have to announce Sayuki first! The perfect area is coming!"
-Takumi,you're doing perfectly, but he is right behind us!

Takumi instantly floors the gas pedal,making an immense, nonrecoverable gap.
-No..I've just witnessed his trademark move but way more brutal..Wait!! No! I'm gonna lose! I have to keep up! desperately shouts Nakazato.
He has lost his focus. He didn't notice he is already revving his engine to the maximum.
~At the gas station~
-Evening,Bunta.
-Evening. Why did you call? I'm quite busy so I'm gonna end the call if it's not important.
-I want to ask you,do you know where Takumi is right now?
-What? Why?
-Just answer me please.
-Did something happen,Yuichi?
-Noo,I'm just asking if you know where he is. So do you?
-He said he will go on a date.
-I see..Well,see you.
Bunta hangs up.
-How weird of Yuichi. What kind of question was that? Hmph. He's stupid as always. I wonder if Takumi's date is going well..
-Guys! Bunta said Takumi is on a date. Are you satisfied?

-Oh man now I'm really curious! Who is his girlfriend?!
~On Usui pass~
Takumi is way ahead. But Nakazato does a beginner mistake. A lethal one for his car in this situation. He down shifted in an inferior gear at 7800rpm.
-Wait! No! Please don't blo-
Takumi,even if he is way ahead hears a loud rumbling.
-What was that? Sayuki asked.
-That fool must have blew his gearbox. Let's go see.
-M-My R32...I did a rookie mistake that costed my gearbox..Damn! shouts Nakazato while punching his dash.
-What happened,Nakazato?asked Takumi.
He doesn't respond. He just smokes his cigar.
-You see,once your car fails working, it means defeat in motorsport,explains Takumi to him.
Nakazato turns around.
-What did you just say to me?
-That's right. Meaning you lost and will leave us alone.
-Who said I will keep my word?
-Do you really want to be talked out of Night Kids,Nakazato? I don't care if you are the leader of this crew. I can talk to Shingo so you will be renegated if you dont leave me and Takumi alone. Oh. And I might as well hand you in go the police for attempted murder when you changed my wheels.
-Jeez. You win.
*Sayuki points finger guns to Nakazato*
-Pow! Now see you. Good luck on repairing that,loser.
Takumi leaves the scene with Sayuki.
-That was SO AWESOME Takumi-kun!! You've got that weirdo away from us!
-Guess I did. Are you happy?
-What are you talking? Of  course I am..But that was weird..Real weird.
-Hm? What do you mean?
-That thing in C121..I felt like the car turned into a rocket when you hit the gas pedal..
-Ohh,it's nothing.
-Wait..Is that..The rumour about the Fujiwara zone..That means it's a real thing?
-If you felt it then I guess it is.
-That was insane. How do you do it?
-It's just natural.. But this time it felt a bit more aggressive because the car is a 4WD.
-Oh come on! Don't humble yourself! I promise I won't tell anyone.

Takumi explains Sayuki exactly what he does to cause this while driving to her home.
-That is really complicated but it sounds logical.

Sayuki picks up.
-Hello,Takumi? It's Natsuki.
-Um...Hello? This is Sayuki, Takumi is driving,he can't talk. Who are you,Natsuki?
