Meeting Ruby's Faimly

It's Ruby's day off work and the new piano is getting delivered today and later they are going to Yang and Blake house for dinner together. Ruby was up and cooking pancakes for breakfast with some bacon on the side. Weiss was in Ruby's Library / office working on Ruby's laptop getting her teaching degree for the piano lessons and singing lessons. She was doing an online classes to get her degree. Ruby offered to send her to school but then they found out that she can just do it from home online Weiss decided to just do that.

"Snowflake your pancakes are ready can you take a break to come eat with me now or do you want to wait until your done?" Ruby asked softly.

"Oh I can come now thank you for breakfast. Oh want time is the piano coming at?" Weiss answers and asked as she gets up and goes to the kitchen. She washed her hands in the sink then sets down at the kitchen table. Ruby hands her a plate of pancakes with strawberries on top and bacon on the side then sets down across from Weiss.

"Oh puppy this looks really good thank you again." Weiss says smiling. Ruby smiled back at her.

"Your welcome snowflake and the music store said they will be here at 10 with the piano. Oh don't forget we are going to Yang and Blake's house tonight together for dinner because Li is sick and Blake didn't think they should go out with her being sick. I asked if we can come their to cook dinner for everyone and she agreed with that. Sorry I didn't ask you if that's ok with you." Ruby wolf ears are down.

"Puppy it's ok I don't mind. I was looking forward to meet them so if that means we have to go to their house then that's fine. I talked with Blake the other day but she didn't say anything about Li being sick so did it just start this morning or something?" Weiss answers her and asked.

"Oh Blake said Li got a fever last night and then this morning she was getting sick, not keeping her milk down. So she called the Doctor and he thinks Li is just teething so she should be ok. Blake gave Li some baby Tylenol and that helped her a little. But she didn't want to take the chance of Li getting worse bye go out." Ruby answers.

"I hope she gets better soon. That sounds kind of scary. Oh that's reminds me I have a Doctors appointment coming up, I looked at your schedule for work and made it for the same day you have off next week so maybe you can come with me. That's if you want to. Oh I also talked with Pyrrha again and it looks like my divorce is going to be done next week as well. Apparently my soon to be ex husband signed the paperwork with no problems so Pyrrha just has to file it with the courthouse. I will get a copy after the courthouse stamps it. I'm so happy for it to be done with." Weiss says.

"Oh that's great news. Do you want to celebrate with something special. I can take you out for dinner or we can go do something that you like to do?" Ruby asked.

"Really can we go to the Opera house for a show? I haven't been their in year's, I use to love going but my ex didn't like it and said it was a waste of money to go." Weiss answers and asked.

"Sure Weiss we can do what ever you like it's your special night. Why not fine out want show's they have coming up and pick the ones you want to see the most." Ruby answers softly.

"Thank you Ruby." Weiss answers.

They finished eating breakfast together, Weiss goes back to the laptop to work. Ruby cleaned up. Then she sets down in the living room to read her book. Before they know it, it was 10 and the new piano was their, two men carry it in and put it in the spot Weiss picked out in the living room. Ruby gives a tip to the men and thanked them. They leave with big smile. Weiss was smiling softly and then she sets down at the piano and started to play something. Ruby smiled big at Weiss. Once Weiss was done playing Ruby clapped her hands.
