Y/n's POV

"Y/n, wake up!" Mom shook me to wake me up.

"What happened?" I asked and looked outside the window. Fire everywhere...

"There's fire in our village. We have to get out. Come on, Y/n!" Mom pulled me out of the house.

"But s/n (sister's name) and dad are still in there!" I cried. Mom stopped when we were deep in the woods.

"Stay here. I'll be back." Mom kissed my forehead before running into the village, ignoring my screams.

"Mom, wait!" I yelled.

When I was about to run to the village, it exploded. The village.

I bumped to the tree behind me. I stood up and walked to the village. Fire everywhere and dead bodies everywhere.

"Mom... Dad... S/n... No, please no!" I cried, running around the village.

"Mom? Mom!" I yelled.

A sound of creaking behind me made me turned. The large tree in our village was starting to fall.

I then, saw my small napkin that my mother gave me when I was 3. I ran to it, ignoring the sound of the tree falling. When I caught it, the tree was falling to me.

I lifted my hand up as I closed my eyes. The tree stopped falling. I opened my eyes and saw it still. I threw it to my side using my hands.

I was shock. Then, I let the darkness in my head close my eyes.

•°✿°•

I wake up after a few minutes. I tried to stand up but saw that my hand was put into a chain.

I was in some kind of hospital.

"Hey! Let me go!" I screamed while banging at the table beside me.

"Let. Me. Go!" I screamed louder.

"Yes, Y/n. I'm on my way." The speaker spoke, which made me flinch a little.

After a few seconds, a woman came into the door and entered the room.

"It's nice to see you awake, Y/n." The woman said.

"Who are you?" I gulped.

"I'm Cecilia Ryers, but you can call me Dr. Ryers." She told me while putting a hand on my shoulder.

"Can you let me go?" I asked with a small tone. She nodded and let my hand out of the chain.

"What am I doing here?" I asked again.

"You are here because you are a very uncommon girl." She explained, making me raise an eyebrow with a wdym look.

"Do you know mutants?" She asked. I nodded.

"Well, you are one of them. You are a mutant." She grinned. My eyes widened with that sentence.

She led me into a my room and I saw that it was night-time. I entered the room when she gestured me to.

"Take some rest, Y/n." She said, before exiting the room.

I sat at the bed and saw my small napkin that my mom gave me when I was 3. I never let it go since...

"Am I the only one in the village that survived?" I asked her. She turned to look at me.

"Yes, Y/n. I'm sorry." She said.

"Goodnight." She shut the door.

I hugged my small napkin as I went to bed.

I hope the days will get better.
