"Birthday Eve - 20th October 11 pm. Dear diary, it's 11 pm. An hour for my 13th birthday. I'm so happy. I'm sure mommy has already baked a cake for my birthday! She sent me up early today after dinner. Dad is not home today. That's why she could bake. I'll write to you tomorrow and tell you what happens. Bye. "
I hid my diary beneath the mattress. No one in the house knew I wrote one. Especially my mom. She would be very eager to read it just to trouble me. I got off the bed and fixed my hair; it was a mess since I was in bed the whole day. I decided to go to my brother's room. We had a big house. It was a typical house just that it was a big one. It was 3 storeyed; 5 rooms, a big hall, kitchen, a movie room, a huge garage, a gym and the my favourite part, the swimming pool. We had a garden with lots of vegetables which mom and I planted. We had an attic and that was basically my room.

I went down the stairs and was greeted with a closed door. As usual. I knocked the door and it opened with my brother's head popping out of the door. My brother, Aiden was my most favourite human! "What's up?", he asks with a questionable look. "I'm bored. I don't have anything else to do", I sigh and pout my lips.
" Gimme 5 I'll see you at the pool". "Yaaayyyy you are the best". I run to my room and get my swimming costume. I change quickly grab a towel and run downstairs. Aiden and I swim whenever we get time. It's become our thing now since I learnt to swim.
I quickly jump in the pool and take a nice fast lap. I come up and I have a huge splash of water on me. "AIDEN!! I'M GONNA KILL YOU, YOU DUFUS!"
"HAHAHA, only if you catch me." Aiden's extremely strong. It's so hard to keep up with him. Of course, now that he completed his transition to a werewolf 4 months ago. He's got better strength. Yes our family is a werewolf family. We transform at the age of 17 and find mates out there.
"ARGHHHH. STOP DOING THAT!"
I couldn't believe I forgot my swimming goggles. I had learnt to open my eyes underwater due to swimming literally everyday, but Aiden was literally throwing water on me.
"DUDEE. WHAT'S YOUR PROBLEM?!" I screamed.
"DON'T DO THAT"
"Alright now Aiden. That needs to stop." The next moment it stopped. Of course I mean otherwise he would have been grounded. Mom had heard me screaming and she knew I hated the water hitting me in my face.
" Come on mom. It's funny. You should see her face. Ohmygod." He said between his hysterical laugh.
Whooosh. Splash. Hawwww. Cough cough cough.
That's all I heard since my back was towards Aiden. "MOMMMMM. My mouth was OPENNN" Aiden screamed.
I guessed what had happened seeing mom laughing near the edge of the pool. " I thought you liked it Aiden".
"Urghhhhhh momm"
I was laughing so hard I was sure some amount of water was definitely gonna go in my stomach.
"Come on bro, don't be a baby." " I'm not being a baby at alll. I didn't even realise how fast she came here and was splashing all the water over me!"
" I have been a werewolf since 18 years hon. It has perks you know! I was the fastest girl werewolf back in our time."
" Really mom? I didn't know. Were you faster than daddy as well?" I asked teasingly.
" Yes, for the matter of fact I was. It was funny when we both found out we were mates at 17. He was training in the grounds and I went to trouble him because I was bored. He started chasing me and couldn't catch. Hahaha. I had never seen him so annoyed and confused. I had laughed so hard. All the pack members were shocked and astonished that the pack gamma couldn't catch an omega. " She said remembering those days. Her eyes always lit up when she was talking about dad.
My dad, Jack was the pack gamma. Gammas were the strongest fighters in the pack; obviously after the Alpha.
Mom, Rachel was the great granddaughter of our pack's beta. She was very jolly, happy go lucky and extremely naughty. Almost everyone in the pack knew her. She was beautiful and was loved by all.
Dad treated her like a queen. They were always always happy. They got married at 17 and had Aiden when they were 18. So mom was just 35 years old now. She looked extremely young and hence was the country's sexiest 'mom' model.
She and dad were the happiest couple ever, until one day he was taken away by something and was never returned. Never have I seen her smile like she did then after that incident.
