Famous Meeting (on hold)

chapter six

I spent most of the day with the girls at my dad's house. We had time to unpack, get to know the area, and especially to improve contact with my dad. At the first meeting, to be honest, it was not bad, and.. I did not feel like a stranger. However, we spoke on the facetime, on the phone, and if it weren't for that, I probably would have felt the empty absence of a father growing up.

-Girls, dinner! - my father shouted from the kitchen.

The house was huge just as Sean mentioned. It was one of the few villas in the Walnut area. The building had 4 bathrooms, huge kitchen, lounge, swimming pool and patio, exercise rooms and 7 bedrooms. I was surprised, however, that my dad lived alone, but I did not want to delve into these topics.
We were in two rooms. Natalie, Tahani, and Taylor were all in one, and I was in the room with Bailey

When we all went downstairs, a delicious meal prepared by my dad was waiting for us on the table. Mum recalled that Dad cooked great.

-How do you like Walnut? my dad asked as he nibbled on the asparagus

-I didn't expect it to be such a wonderful place! Taylor said

-It's a very good place to record a tik toks! - Bailey added

-Good insight on the guys. Natalie said. Everyone looked at her in surprise, then began to laugh

-How are you, Kayc? - He asked

-So good. Honestly?... Better than in Europe.

-Probably because Sean lives nearby - Tahani said under her breath, making the girls turn to look at each other and start laughing softly.

-Sean Lew? my dad asked in surprise

-Yes?.. Maybe you know each other?

-It would be hard not to know the boy. A real genius. Besides, he's working sometimes with his dad at a pharmaceutical company.

-Well...

-His dad is very nice. I have never met a funnier or nicer person in my life.

-Haha, you must be having a good time in the company - I said, taking the next bite of the meal

-A.. I forgot to tell you. We are agreed with them for dinner. Tonight.

Suddenly I started to choke.

fuck.. I know this guy only few days and I'll be pushing him home!?

Natalie and Bailey quickly got up from the table and started rescuing me

-alright now. Thank you. - I said hoarsely

-Is it..

-No, not Dad. Calmly. But .. what time?

-Today at 6:00pm.

-Maybe we will not disturb you? - Tahani added

-No, take it easy..

-I mean.. we can go to town. No problem, Taylor said

-If you want, I will lend you some car

some car? what-

-Which of you have a driving license? - asked my dad who, getting up from the table, started collecting plates.

-Natalie - the girls said in unison

-Nat, you always have your keys in the key cabinet above the camera panel in the hallway. If you need to go somewhere, you got it

-Thank you so much, but..

-No but. Take it and it's over

The girl nodded her head uncertainly, and on Friday we all went to the room to listen to music together.
