I watched as she slumped over crying.

I didn't even know this girl. I barely know her name. What she does. What she's like.

I didn't feel like I was even controlling myself when I picked her up and put her down on the bed at the center of the room.

"W-What are you doing?" She said, looking at me. Tears streaming down her face.

"I do not know." I answered honestly, closing my eyes for a moment. When I opened them back up, she was curled up into a ball. I sighed.

While I do have the talent of the Super High School Level Comedian, the talent is useless without emotion... I know my weakness.

I must admit, it is boring to see her crying. But, it is boring to do everything down here. I know the outcome to every situation they put me in before we even begin the experiments.

I clutched my chest as I made a face. I felt a pain in my heart, which was odd. The person who this vessel used to belong to had no health issues... and the surgery didn't give me any.

"Do not cry." I said, ignoring the painful feeling as I sat down next to her. "The feeling of despair... as I said before, is pointless."

She just looked at me. She almost looked confused. Perhaps as to how someone could be so... inexperienced in the world of emotions.

"It's obviously not that simple. But I guess you don't feel anything, do you?" She spat, before turning away and curling up again.

I don't know what I'm doing when it comes to emotions. However. Studies show that hugs make things better.

I scooted closer to her, and wrapped my arms around her.

She cried into my shoulder.

For once... I felt trusted.

I felt like I understood what this was a little better.

She wasn't angry at me necessarily.

She was just... sad.

It is something I cannot comprehend. All I can do is try to understand. Until Enoshima and Ikusaba come back, we are both trapped here.

This Enoshima... needs my attention.
