The day of the party came by quickly and I was a little nervous as my sister put on my makeup. Tom hung out with me but Sarah always was with him and when he'd leave us she would say only mean things. I pushed those thoughts away. Today was mom's day and I didn't want to ruin it. I smile once she finished and she put me in front of a mirror making my eyes widen.
"I don't look like myself." I said and she shook her head.
"No but its only for tonight." She said and I smiled at her. We walked down and helped mom until the guests showed up Tom and Sarah being the last ones.
"(Y/n)?" I hear and turn around to see Tom blushing.
"Oh hey Tom!" I said and smiled as Sarah came back. She had on a long black dress and makeup with her hair up making her look amazing.
"Hey (y/n)!" Sarah said and I smiled.
"Hey Sarah you both look great!" I said and she laughed.
"Of course we do We're matching." She said and I nodded.
"Yeah I guess you are." I said kinda sad at how much they looked like a couple.
"(Y/n)!!!" I hear before Star hugs me making me laugh.
"Hey Star!" I said and she looked at Tom and Sarah.
"Hey Tom!" She said and she looked at Sarah.
"Sarah."
"Star." They said with fake kindness and Tom and I looked at them confused.
"Umm I need to help with drinks." I said and Sarah looked at me.
"Can I help?" And I nodded.
"If you want." I said and she grabbed my hand dragging me to the drinks. I grab some punch and as I try to leave I get tripped making me spill drinks all over me.
"Oh no (y/n)!" Sarah said and I looked up to see that some punch got on her.
"Oh my gosh I'm so sorry Sarah!" I said as Tom and Star came over.
"Tom! She threw a drink on me and tripped to make it look like an accident!" Sarah yelled and I looked at her shocked.
"What?!?" I yelled and Alice came over.
"Who do you think you are framing my sister like that!" She yelled and I shook my head.
"I'm going get a different dress." I said as everyone argued not hearing me making me sigh as Tom looks at me confused. I slip away and head to my room looking in the mirror hearing the screams from the room as I flop on the bed and close my eyes.
"Why do I have to be so gosh darn stupid?" I ask myself.
"Your not stupid (y/n)." I hear making me sit up quickly seeing Tom. He smiles a bit before sitting down by me.
"I know you didn't fake trip." He said and I rolled my eyes.
"Sure." I say and he looks at me.
"I'm serious. You can't lie (y/n) your eyes dart around and your voice gets a little higher than normal." He said and I smiled.
"Wow I'm that bad at lying?" I asked and he chuckled nodding. We sit for a while before he speaks.
"I meant to tell you earlier but you look beautiful." He said making me blush.
"Thanks you too." I say before my eyes widened.
"I- I mean you look handsome not beautiful. I mean you look attractive in that but- oh god I'm bad at this." I said blushing harder and covering my face in my hands.
"(Y/n) look at me." He says and I look before I feel something warm press to my lips. My eyes widen as Tom kisses me and it takes a second before I kiss back closing my eyes before he pulls away and my eyes open.
"I- I like you (y/n)" Tom says and I smile before jumping into his arms and crying into his chest.
"I like you too!" I say happily as the door opens.
