"And, then, it suddenly burst into flames! Can you believe that?" Ron Weasley excitedly rambled on about what happened in their Care of Magical Creatures, where Inanna was provoked to no end when the ever-annoying Draco Malfoy had pushed her buttons too far.
The result was better than Inanna thought. It was only that a rock burst near Draco, lightning struck and the once cloudless sky turned gray. Oh and, the ends of Crabbe and Goyle's robes caught on fire.
"No, Ron. That's not what happened. Crabbe and Goyle's robes caught on fire, it didn't burst out in flames!" Hermione corrected Ronald with a huff. I rolled my eyes at them. These two were always bickering.
"Honestly, Hermione, it's the same thing!" Ron over-exaggurated, causing Inanna to roll her eyes again.
"Well, I'm so sad that I couldn't see that," Khai said gloomily from her position on the hospital bed, in the hospital wing. "That sure must've been a sight to see. But, instead, I'm stuck here!" Khai groaned. Not knowing anything else, Inanna reached out and softly patted Khai's bandaged leg.
"Well, it was pretty stupid of you to try and chase Malfoy around the castle. You didn't even see the staircase in your way," Harry said and shrugged once Khai glared at him. "You do know that you don't have to do all that. Just ignore Malfoy."
"Its quite hard to ignore someone who shares the same house as you," Inanna said quietly. "But I do agree with Harry-" Inanna gestured in Harry's direction. "We need to learn to ignore Malfoy and his stupid antics."
Saying that, she remembered how over-dramatic he was. Just a simple scratch - that he deserved - and he acts like he's dying and the world is ending. Because let's get our facts straight, first.
1. Draco Malfoy was not dying because of a scratch.
2. The world would actually be a lot more happier if Draco wasn't in it.
But she didn't tell Malfoy these, though. More because she had much more important things to do than rile Draco up, and get into another verbal fight with him.
Ron, Hermione and Harry nodded at Inanna's words. Hermione looked down at her watch.
"Oh, shoot!" She muttered. "I'm late, gotta go! Bye!" She called and before any of us could respond, she was already out.
"But, we're not late. We still have like ten minutes before potions start. And Snape is always late, anyways." Ron and Harry said together and they simultaneously checked their own watches.
"She took more classes than us, so she has a much more packed schedule than us," Inanna informed. "Khai, you rest and take care of yourself. And, if someone unexpectedly comes in, tell me-" Inanna said, as she remembered how she had earlier entered the hospital wing in hopes of finding a medicine for headaches, but instead she found Madam Pomfrey fussing over Draco Malfoy's barely injured arm. "And, now we have to go. We have to walk to potions. Its gonna take us some time, so we have to leave now." She said as she got up from her chair, watching Harry and Ron do the same thing.
"Bye, then. I'll copy off of your notes, later," Khai said as she watched Inanna, Ron and Harry get up. "Farewell."
"Farewell." Inanna shot Khai one of her beautiful but quick smiles. Inanna heard Harry and Ron mutter 'farewell' as well.
It was when Inanna, Ron and Harry were almost out the hospital wing, did Inanna hear Khai call out, "See you later, Innie!"

Ron, Inanna and Harry were sat together. They were normally chatting about random things. Usually, the Slytherins would occupy the left side of the room, while the Gryffindor's would occupy the right side of the room. The Slytherins would be too proud to even glance at the Gryffindor's, and the Gryffindor's would be too disgusted to even care about the Slytherins. So, it was pretty weird for a Slytherin to be seated closely with two Gryffindors on the Gryffindor side. But nobody really payed much attention to it. They were used to it, this had been Inanna's seat in potions ever since she started.
Their professor Snape wasn't here yet, because as Ron and Harry said, he was always late anyways. But with a sudden gust of more noticeable air, and with a popping sound, Hermione slid into the free chair next to Ronald.
Inanna was a bit surprised at first, but then eventually figured out what was going on. She gave Hermione and sly little smirk, to which she smiled and looked down. She did this all the while Ron and Harry were gaping at Hermione.
"Merlin! How-"
"How did you get here, Hermione?"
"What do you mean?" Hermione gave a little laugh. "I was always right here."
"But I swear-" Ron said, but was cut off by the door to the potions classroom bursting open.
The same old entrance of our lovely professor Snape.
Professor Snape entered with the same bored face Inanna had seen him wear for the past two years. He slowly walked to the front of the classroom, clearly taking his time and not even caring about it.
"Today," He started, "We will be making Draught Of The Living Dead. Can anyone tell me what it is?" Inanna of course knew what it was, but did not even bother to raise her hand. But she saw Hermione's hand shoot up in the air.
Snape looked around the classroom, but after finding no one else, he sighed and gestured for Hermione to speak up.
"The Draught Of The Living Dead, sir, is an extremely powerful sleeping draught, that sends the drinker into a death like slumber." Hermione said, without taking her eyes off of Snape.
Snape nodded lazily. "Yes, correct. Ten points to Gryffindor." Snape said almost painfully. The corners of Inanna's mouth twitched. Then, Snape went on to drone on about the potion, seldomly writing important points on the board.
Inanna was taking notes, when she felt eyes on her. She tried to ignore it and keep writing, but the stare was too intense to be ignored. So, she looked up, and saw none other than Draco Malfoy staring at her. The boy didn't even try and look away when he was caught staring. Inanna rolled her eyes and looked back down to concentrate.
Though, she couldn't. The whole class, she felt the same stare burning her.
