The weather in Brindleton Bay was crazy these days. After a heatwave, it suddenly turned unusually cold for the summer - which made Theresa sad because this meant she wasn't able to play with her dolls outside because her mom wouldn't want her to catch a cold.

However, inside was nice and cozy and Theresa had a plan to catch up on her homework - maybe she could even do some extra credit work - so that she could have an entire afternoon just for herself. It sounded like a good plan.

It wasn't unusual for her to get up before her parents - especially during the weekend. Her dad's working schedule was hectic and never during normal work hours. Even though her mom did work during the day, she was often very tired, so she made sure to rest well whenever she had a chance.
