At work, she had to test a tainted serum. Even though Supriya volunteered to be the one to try it out, Lizette felt bad for doing this. Supriya was such a darling and she didn't want to harm her with a bad concoction.

She had to take a break from all the experiments, so she went to work with a telescope. Being alone in there helped her collect her thoughts. The work of a scientist came with a lot of pros. Of course, there had to be some cons as well. When she used SimRay, she didn't feel guilty - that was usually fun for everyone involved. She realized that being a scientist also meant choosing to test other serums - both regular and tainted. Taking all of the dangerous stuff in consideration, they experimented in a safe environment and if something went wrong, they'd be able to fix it.

At the end of the day, Lizette got a promotion! From now on, she would be a Technological Innovator. And with that, she got a new uniform, which she decided to wear the very next day.

As she relaxed by playing chess, she noticed that her workdays seemed... same. Yes, she was successful, but she didn't have anyone to share that success with.
