She became interested in science when she was a teen. While other subjects were boring, Lizette had found experimenting with different elements, making various concoctions and researching about anything managed to put her mind at ease. During her teen years, it sort of became her escape.

They always had new people in the lab and Lizette always met them. They knew about her, of course. She was somewhat famous in the world of science - not nearly as famous as Paolo in his music career - but every newcomer knew who she was.

She was glad when they were relaxed and when they loved to make jokes. And she was also glad there were young people interested in science. As long as there was a spark that started someone's interest in science, that was great.

As long as there were people willing to discover new stuff in everyday things, in everything surrounding them, Lizette would welcome them with open arms. If there were young people who saw science as their safe space - as Lizette did many years ago - Lizette wowed to teach them everything she knew.

At the end of her shift, just as she had hoped that morning, she got promoted to Mad Scientist. It was a great accomplishment! One more step on the ladder of her career and she would really be at the top of the scientist career.
