~Xyla's point of view~

It's been two weeks since I fainted. My doctor wasn't happy; he gave me strict orders to cease all workouts. He also wants me to drink more and eat more. Not working out was hard. Eating is even harder. I feel guilty when I eat. It does help that Sydney and I have met Tryzdin and Jones at Risers every day.

Scarlett makes me eat, and so do the guys. I haven't been throwing up as much. I am trying really hard to do what I should for our child. I'm not trying to hurt the baby in any way intentionally. I just got into an unhealthy routine and got stuck.

I have moved on from the chocolate cake and onto Scarlett's strawberry shortcake. Which is what I am waiting on right now. Scarlett is like a mother hen when we are here. She watches my every move. Tryzdin told me that he told his mother, I don't mind it. I'm just glad she likes me.

Scarlett: "I have your cake. With extra whipped cream."

Xyla: "You are the best!"

Tryzdin: "I thought I was."

Xyla: "When you start making desserts let me know."

Scarlett: "Son, she loves you, but I will continue to be her favorite. Don't steal my thunder. I like her a whole lot better than the last one."

Tryzdin: "We all do."

Xyla: "Right."

The door opens, and my dad walks in. He's comes straight to me and hugs me, then repeats it with Sydney. He shakes Tryzdin's hand and completely ignores Jones.

I will never understand why he doesn't like Jones. He is a really good guy, and I will continue to keep him in my life. He was with me when things were terrible and never complained one bit. I know he isn't Tryzdin's favorite person either.

I also know that Sydney really isn't into him. He stays around because of me. I'm thankful for him. I am also pretty sure that Sydney ended it with him. I ask him to come, and they don't complain.

Scarlett: "I'll get your order, Randy."

Randy: "Thank you."

She walks away.

Xyla: "What have you been up to today, Dad?"

Randy: "I handled some business. It's one of the last few things I need to tie up."

My phone beeps.

~Text conversation~

Sydney: "He could tie me up..."

Xyla: "Eww."

She sends a laughing emoji.

~End conversation~

Randy: "Why do you two do that?"

Xyla: "Do what?"

Randy: "Be sitting at the same table and text each other."

Xyla: "Girl, talk, Dad."

Randy: "How do you deal with these two Tryzdin?"

Tryzdin: "I'm used to it. I also know better than to question it. That isn't a battle I am willing to fight."

Sydney and I laugh. Scarlett brings my dad's food; he hugs us both again and leaves. It's not too much later; the guys have to go. Jones hugs me, and Tryzdin kisses me.
