~Randy's point of view~

It's been a week since Xyla fainted. She is doing better; she and Tryzdin worked out their stuff. They are in a great place. They meet for lunch every day; I see them making it forever. That is why I am sitting here waiting to talk to Matt. I made sure Jennifer was completely out of my daughter's lives, and I am going to make sure my daughter has this asshole out of Xyla's.

Matt: "You can come in, Randy."

I follow him into his office.

Matt: "I assume you are here for something personal. I know you don't have an account here."

Randy: "You're right. I am here about my grandkids."

Matt: "What about them?"

Randy: "I want you to sign your rights over to Xyla. She can financially support and stay home with them. She owns her house and is happy. She doesn't need your help."

Matt: "I know she is pregnant. I also know she is with Tryzdin."

Randy: "They aren't trying to hide it. He is who they need in their lives. He is good to them and Xyla. They will be married eventually. Let them do it without you popping in and out. I am willing to make sure you and your parents never have to work again."

Matt: "Is that what they are to you, Randy? Just dollar signs?"

Randy: "When it comes to you not being in their lives, yes, name a price."

Matt: "Why don't you tell me what you were thinking?"

I write the number down and slide it to him. His eyes give him away.

Randy: "As soon as you can prove the paperwork is filed, I'll make sure you have the money."

Matt: "What do you get out of this?"

Randy: "My daughter's complete freedom."

Matt: "I will contact my lawyer."

Randy: "You have my number; let me know."

I leave his office and meet the girls for lunch. I know that includes Jones. I don't speak to him. It's not because I don't like him; he has grown on me. I want Xyla to feel like she has someone that is just hers. Jones is that for her. I did let him know this, so he didn't get offended. He understood.

When we leave the restaurant, Sydney rides with Xyla. I know they are going home. I have to go to my bank. I get a text from Xyla.

~Text conversation~

Xyla: "I want to ask Tryzdin and the girls to move in."

Randy: "I am all for that, Sweetheart."

Xyla: "I wanted your approval. You bought this house."

Randy: "It's in your name, and we had the basement and garage done, so there is plenty of room. Move them in and have lots more babies."

Xyla: "I don't know if Tryzdin would be ok with that. We have yours, mine, and ours now. Five may be enough for him."

Randy: "That man would give you the world if he could, and you know it. Let me know what you ask him. I'll bring my truck to help."

Xyla: "Thanks."
