Chapter 2

~~~Y/N's POV~~~
"AND WHO ARE YOU?"
An object stopped me. It seemed like a matchstick and a pencil. They scoffed at me
"Like, are you gonna answer pencil or we can like, throw you back in that forest." The matchstick looked at me annoyed
"L-leave them alone!" Leafy added on
"Are you gonna rob me too? Like you did in the contest? Such a pathetic loser." The pencil and the matchstick laughed at her. Leafy was gonna open her mouth.
"Awe, like, are you gonna call your friend firey? Cause last time I checked you guys, arent friends, anymore" they were all laughing at her. She looked like she wanted to cry.
"What friends do you have left? I'm saying zero. Let me spell it out for you Z-E-R-O" pencil started laughing at her even more. I could hear sniffling from leafy. Leafy kept looking at me. I wanted to defend her, but nothing would come out of my mouth. Something was telling me that I shouldn't help her if I wanna be in trouble. Another one telling me that stand up to them.
"I-i" pencil cut me off
"Awe did you finally decide to speak. Listen here you... We are the alliance, so. Don't. Mess. With. Us." Pencil was inching towards me. As if she knows my weakness.
"Did you, like, get that," Match added. They both walked away laughing. While they were chanting the word losers, it was slowly being inaudible. Leafy looked in horror, sad, angry. Her feelings seemed mixed up.
"I am sorry about all of this leafy."
The leaf started to cry
"I knew I shouldn't come back here. I knew it!" She kept sobbing. She started hyperventilating. I walked up to her and just hugged her. I don't know why, I barely know her.
"It is alright leafy, it's my fault you were in this position. I should've helped you" I kept hugging her. I didn't wanna stop. It felt nice. Seconds later she began to calm down.
"Thank you."
she started hugging me back. It felt nice. Like I was a little kid again, someone who is appreciated and loved.
We hugged for another minute. Or at least it felt like so.

"Umm leafy?" Some voice from the background was heard. Leafy stopped hugging me which I felt a bit sad.
"Who are they?" The same voice asked
"Oh right! Coiny meets Y/N. Y/N meet Coiny." Leafy replied
"Nice to meet you, you already know my name. So... a while ago I saw you guys with Pencil and Match. They can be assholes sometimes. Don't worry about them tho just ignore them. I usually do that. Hehe..." it was quiet for a couple of moments.
"Are we gonna meet the others or?" The coin opened its mouth.
"Yeah, let's go" the leaf replied.
We all started walking more farther away from the forest. I wanted to start some small talk.
"So Uhm, leafy, why is it called the evil forest?" she turned around and looked at me.
"Well about that I'm not sure about it. From what I'm guessing it's about evil leafy. What about you Coiny? What do you think?"
"Coming from experience you are kinda right. Remember the end of BFDI, when you turned "evil" well I'm guessing you and evil leafy separated and now she just roams the forest." As he did the last part he tried doing a spooky voice. Pfft- it was kinda funny. It stayed quiet for seconds. Will the seconds turn into minutes? It kept staying quiet. I started to daydream. All I could hear were Leafy's and Coiny's footsteps. Where are we even going? Are we gonna just walk around to do something? Then suddenly someone was in front of me. I bumped into someone. Another object?
"You alright? Sorry if I was in your way" I bumped into this taco.
"Umm, hello? Are you okay?"
Shit! What do I respond with!
"It is alright if you don't know what to respond with. Names taco, it's nice to meet you." It was quiet for a moment, I guess they were waiting for me to respond.
"Names Y/N, some people call me N/N."
"Well, it is very nice to meet you Y/N. What kind of object are you?"
Huh?
"I'm not an object. I'm a human."
"Like David and Dora." They replied
"Who's Dora and David? Taco then pointed to two different places. One of them looked like they had football hair. The other one was bald. Not sure how I looked like them, but okay. Taco looked back at me and smiled.
"Say... do you wanna meet my other friends? New people, well technically objects. But sure why not?
We spent walking most of the time, the further we went the more objects there were. No match and pencil which is good, I don't wanna mess with them tho.
"And we are here!"
Taco introduced me to a book, a lollipop, and a gate. I looked around and saw more objects. Everywhere we're objects. A saw, a tree, a pen, an eraser, a block. And so much more! I kept looking around until I heard some snapping
"Uhhh hello? Are you gonna say hello to us or?" The lollipop asked me. Holy shit her voice. Kinda hot- I mean.
"Sorry about that I was just looking around," I replied back
"It is fine, I mean you are new to Goiky so I will accept your apology. Names lollipop, It is a pleasure to meet new customers or friends" she smiled at me. I turned to the gate
"Hey there, names Gatey. What about you?" They asked me
"I'm Y/N, but you can call me N/N." "that's a nice name." I turned to the book to say hi, but they were gone? I guess I was gonna stay around for a bit more. Lollipop was talking about a fork repellent. Is someone gonna throw forks or something? Taco and Gatey were talking to each other. So I walked away. Not sure where I was walking to but might as well meet new objects. I saw this ruby and flower talking. I heard someone singing a song about two trucks making love? Uhh, that's kinda weird, but not my business. I stopped at this one spot. It looked really pretty. I wanted to stay here forever. Maybe I should stay here. The sun started setting. The wind slowly coming in while the sun is setting. It looked really pretty. I heard someone stepping on the grass as they were coming closer to me.
"Mind if I sit here with you?" An Australian accent asked. It was cute not gonna lie.
"Uhm, sure I don't mind" I replied. A tree sat next to me.
"So are you here to escape the craziness from the other objects?" He started a convo. Jesus christ his accent is hot- Y/N! What are you thinking? You just met him!
"Not exactly, I came here with a friend but, I guess they were busy so I just wandered off. I like it peaceful."
"I do too, just me and nature. Hehehe... names tree, what about you?" His laugh was adorable.
"Names Y/N, but you can call me N/N." I lightly blushed.
(Yeah I'm making you have a crush on Tree cause why not).
"So what brings you here?" The tall tree asked.
"Uh, I don't wanna answer that really. Kinda a bit too personal."
"Oh dear, well something bad must've happened huh? Hope this place makes you feel better"
as he said the last part he put his hand on my shoulder. It felt my face go bright red.
"So what are you into?"
He asked me
"Oh, the only thing I used to do was read, study, or other stuff to help with my grades. My dad was strict with getting good grades. But he was kinda a goofball."
I chuckled a bit
"Yikes! Not sure I would like to just do that. Didn't you do other stuff like.."
he was thinking for a moment. And he snapped his finger.
"Did you ever stargaze?"
While he said that stars were slowly appearing in the dark purple sky. He walked off a bit sat down and patted the spot next to him. Signaling for me to sit next to him. I walked up and laid down. The stars are looking pretty tonight. The sky started to be filled with dim lights that were millions and millions of miles away. I and Tree kept staring at the stars. It was an enjoyable experience for me. It stayed quiet for seconds, until tree decided to speak.
"So uh, wanna hang out tomorrow? Same place same time?"
"That would be nice."
It stayed quiet for another moment
"So are we friends?"
I asked at the last moment
"I guess you could say that," the tall tree replied. He turned around and said
"Nice meeting you N/N with the stars." The last part he said made me red. And his accent makes it even worse for me. It looked like I was trying not to laugh at something or I was crazy. It had been a phew seconds he left so I just stayed there with the Moon and millions of stars. The scene looked amazing and I was happy I chose to stay here. Thank you leafy. Wait... I just left without telling her! She must be panicking! I got out of my spot and started running trying to find her. I walked past this one dude who looked like he was a flame?? Maybe I should ask him!
"Hey, excuse? Do you mind helping me find someone?"
I asked him urgently.
"Do I know you?" He replied back
"You don't know me, names Y/N. And please help me find my friend!"
"Alright who is it that you need to find?"
He sounded more confident this time
"My friend leafy. She was, well, a leaf."
He stared me cold dead in the eyes and he looked worried for a second and looked back at me.
"...I'm sorry I don't know who you're talking about"
"A-are you sure?"
"Yes, yes I am. Now please would you kindly leave me alone?" At that reply, he looked worried and sick. As if he was about to panic. But I have to leave as he asked me nicely
"Alright, thanks for your help." I left quickly as I could to find her. I started shouting out her name multiple times. Until I came across this wood. He looked at me for a second then started screaming.
"AAAAAA-"
wait no no no don't scream! A red block looked at me and the wood piece.
"Jesus Christ woody you're so scared of everything. Grow up already. It's just Dora. But more fleshy and with more hair." He replied with annoyance in his voice
"Wah sorry" the block rolled his eyes
"Names Blocky and the scared cat is named Woody." I looked at Woody and he did a little wave at me
"Well, sorry to bother you guys but do you know where Leafy is?"
"The dream island stealer? The last time I saw her she was by the tables by gelatins steak house." He turned around and pointed where.
"Alright thank you so much. I'll repay you someday!"
I walked off running towards to way he pointed. There was a green object there with some cups around them and steak. The place behind them read as "Gelatins steakhouse" huh,
Leafy was there drinking lemonade cups.
"Heya pal! Watcha doing here?" Leafy asked
"Leafy, I was looking for you all over Goiky! And I'm sorry if I left you alone"
"Hey, hey, no need to be sorry, you just wanted to explore around here. You are new here so your curiosity got the best of you. It is fine if you need to be on your own."

It stayed quiet for a few seconds
"That would be 12.74- Oh hello there!. As I was saying. You may need to pay up now."
Leafy looked at me and smiled at me.
"Can I borrow some money?"
she looked at me awkwardly. I only had like 8-9 dollars with me.
"Can 9 dollars be enough?"
I asked the gelatin.
"I mean Leafy can work for a while until she can payback. And I could use more workers since this feels like a one-man job."
Leafy thought for a bit then agreed.
"Hey Leafy I'm going to find a place to snooze. I'll see you in the morning."
I walked off to a tree in the distance and slowly dozed off.
Let's see what tomorrow has in store for me.
