Finally,  you reached snowdon town.
Civilisation that was finally not out to kill you felt amazing. You walked by all of these most interesting monsters and enjoyed the familiar but new smells and experiences. It was mind numbing to think the familiar cobble streets under your  feet was miles away from the streets you used to roam above , you are not an especially emotional person and the determination to return home or atleast make light of your new life below kept you from throwing a fit of panic. Also the smells from the near by bakery kept your stomach happy aswell ...
You kept on walking and asking multiple bunnies and odd slimes for directions until you reached the strange address , you also picked up some odd stories about them along your way that peaked your interest for the pair. Inquisitivey like your own helped you *fall* into the trapped position your in today , pun intended.
Fairy lights twinked warmly in the dry frosty air and stood out among the other homes for its unique shape but still blended in. You snapped your head back into reality and rapped hard on the wood door and shuffled with your feet in anticipation until the door slowly opened to a very lazy familiar skeleton,  no wonder it took so long , this lazy bones just looked like he got out of bed despite it being 2 in the afternoon.
*hello, how can i help yo- oh ! Its you !* He snapped awake suddenly as he noticed it was yourself.  You had both gained a friendly acuatience but not much of a friendship
*papyrus said you were coming and i was supposed to be awake to let you in... hey you dont say i was asleep and i wont say that you were late* he winked at you and you sighed in response
'Im not late'
*yeah but he wont know that*
He opens the door and lets you inside
'Fair enough i guess I'll keep my mouth shut'
You notice immediately how clean and homely the place is surprisingly.  You would have expected any place to home someone like sans despite papyrus efforts to have been an absolute shit show but this was the opposite.
'Nice place you got'
*I cant take any credit, this house is papyrus' and his to decorate , hes done a fantastic job on it-* he points to a sock littered with notes *thats all mine though he cant take credit for that*

*Your going to have to wait for him , hes been on patrol today or some training thingy with undyne. Im really proud of him -yawn- i think i need to head back to my station soonish , papyrus will be home in about an hour and im sure you can look after yourself until then. Your room is at the end of the upstairs corridor, make yourself at home and grab whatever you want from the fridge* he smiles *welcome home bud , what's ours is yours*

You chat with sans a little more about the housing arrangement and about feeding the pet (you didnt want to say anything but it did seem to just be a rock with sprinkles) until he left as the sun began to fade. You head upstairs making small notes of the place before you enter your room. A gentle click on the handle and you enter a small box cubard room with soft pastel walls , a decently sized bed with a red and yellow quilt, a small nightstand with what seemed to be a comic of a pink anime girl and a wooden shelf on which was a pot of yellow flowers and another of blue flowers that each bloomed beautifully. You felt utterly at peace. Theres something about a room , even a basic one at that , that makes you feel so utterly content and importantly safe. You shut the door behind you and noiced hanging up where some pyjamas, a small bag of toiletries (you felt relief especially as you hadn't brushed your teeth in the longest time) and a paper bag inside containing a knitted jumper and thick above (whatever your comfortable wearing eg a skirt) with a good luck note from toriel . You were surprised to read she only gifted you these two items meaning everything else must have been from papyrus making your heart twinge from guilt , this was so so kind of him. You made a mental note to repay the favour as you changed out of your battered and bruised clothing into the ones from the little paper bag. You relaxed a little in your bed room reading the manga as you were too anxious to explore the rest of the house.
That was until you heard the key click
