Marinette was early for the first time in her life, dressed in the dress that Natalie had chosen for her. She was about to ask for directions to the dressing room to fix her wind-blown hair when she felt a small object vibrate in her purse.
Brrr! Brrr!
Marinette opened the pouch and Tikki pushed the phone over to her chosen's hand. She couldn't stop giggling. "H-hurry and- answer it Marinette- it- it tickles!"
Marinette pulled out the communication device and answered the incoming call. "Bonjour!"
"I am in a tight pinch Princess!" It was Adrien's voice, and he sounded like he was stressed out. On the opposite end, Marinette could pick up the sound of cooing and clammoring girls, moaning and purring Adrien's name.
Marinette looked around to check to make sure none of Gabriel's staff had overheard that Adrien was on the phone. She hid behind some curtains off to the side and whispered with a hiss. "My Prince are you ok?"
Adrien started to dodge fans and take off as a run. The wind whistled through the phone, making Adrien's voice sound softer in comparision. "I'm fine. I just took a wrong turn is all. Tell my father I'll be there in a flash!"
Marinette could hear Adrien squirm into an enclosed space. He was panting hard. Marinette's eyes widened when she realized what Adrien was planning on doing. "Kitty you couldn't possibly mean-"
"Plagg, Claws Out!!"
The call ended and Marinette scowled at the icon of the hung up phone. She wanted to scold her partner for being a bit reckless, but she was one to talk. Marinette even changed into Ladybug to arrive early. Marinette composed herself and guessed her way to find Natalie's dressing room.
Natalie turned to beam at her. "Miss Dupain-Cheng! Glad you could make it!"
The next two hours were spent getting Natalie all dolled up with an elegant makeover to match her aura and her breathtaking wedding dress. Marinette remained mostly in a chair, fussing and adjusting small aesthetic details in the gown. It was a Gabriel piece but Marinette had artfully altered it in a way that complimented Natalie's form and pressence.
She looked like a snowy empress.
Adrien poked his head in the door with a fond smile. "You look stunning Natalie."
Natalie bent her head gracefully as the slightest hint of blush tainted her ivory cheeks. "Thank you."
Adrien nodded to Marinette and the rest of the flower girls. "Whenever you're ready."

It was a beautiful wedding. Gabriel and Natalie were so happy, and Adrien played his role as best man perfectly. Marinette and Adrien shared a meaningful glance.
They smiled.
It would only be a few years before it would be them that would unite in marriage.
They had all the time in the world.
Gabriel and Natalie kissed and the patrons clapped and whistled in approval. The newlyweds parted with a wonderous laugh. Marinette organized the guests to form into 2 lines to create a path. On her command, all the patrons started blowing bubbles in an archway. Gabriel swept Nataile off her feet and ran through the passageway.
People laughed and cheered.
The reception was lovely, and Adrien noticed when the bride and groom slipped away from the festivities to run into the garden. The 17 year old fashion model rested against the wall as he stared out the window. He smiled fondly as he watched Gabriel and Natalie share a slow dance.
