It was a cold starry night and Ladybug and Chat Noir lounged casually on a blanket that was smoothed over a rooftop. They lay side by side, watching the countless twinkling stars. It was rare that the two teenage superheroes got peaceful downtime like this, and it was a welcomed break. Chat smiled and sighed. "I wish this night could last forever My Lady."
Ladybug had to agree. The Akuma attacks had been picking up over the last week, and this pause felt like a precious gift. Ladybug yawned with a smirk. "You want to know what makes tonight so special?"
Chat chuckled as he laced his hands behind his cat eared head. "Other than spending more time with you?" He glanced curiously over at his partner with a small cock of his blond haired head.
Ladybug hummed in confirmation and spread her hands to gesture to the night sky. "Tonight there's supposed to be a meteor shower, my Astronomy teacher said that it would be the most colorful one in a century."
Chat had heard the information before in his Astronomy class but he did his best to be surprised. He grinned in anticipation. "Cool." The peaceful rooftop lookout turned out to be the best spot, away from some of the most intense lights in the city. Meteors started streaking across the sky, burning in a plethora of dazzling colors.
Ladybug's jaw dropped in awe. The view was stunning. Then she squinted at a particular meteor that appeared to be staying in one spot...and glowing brighter and larger by the second. Ladybug reached over and tapped Chat nervously on the arm. "Chat..."
Getting a terrible feeling, Ladybug sprang up to tackle Chat off the roof at the meteor smashed through their abandoned spot. The two heroes crashed in an alley way, and the force of the impact was enough to get Chat out of a daze. His green cat-like eyes bugged in alarm. "Wait, was that-"
The two heroes scrambled to their feet. They were mid run when a green beam locked onto the both of them. Gravity lost it's hold over them and the two miraculous wielders started to float. Afraid of being separated they held hands and grimly watched the space craft draw near, then completely envelop them. The entrance doors closed and gravity claimed them once more.

This night had a habit of getting weirder and weirder. Chat slowly opened his eyelids that felt so heavy. He groggily pushed off the ground to sit up, and a sharp white noise rang in his ears. Nothing in his present environment seemed familiar, and the lights were out. Areas of his enhanced cat vision was blurred, and he shook his head with a whispered groan. Chat winced as he felt the relapse of a migraine. "Where...am I?" The room looked like a sophisticated science laboratory, with glowing machines and abandoned equipment.
In the darkness the cat superhero relaxed a bit when he heard a familiar female voice. "We're on some sort of akuma spaceship...I think." In the darkness Ladybug crawled over to her partner and placed a cold hand on Chat's forehead with a worried frown.
Chat Noir refocused on Ladybugs face. "My Lady? What's wrong? Do I have dirt on my face?"
Ladybug frowned in the darkness. "You hit your head pretty hard Kitty."
Chat Noir blinked in suprise. "Oh-"
"LADYBUB AND CATNOR!" The two Heroes parisian Superheroes looked over to see a young boy stride into the room. He was dressed like an astronaut, but his face was glowing a bright green, which contrasted his strawberry red hair. He was grinning mischeviously from ear to ear. "Hawkmawt has told me so much about you!"
Ladybug tensed and apprehensively helped Chat and herself to their feet. "I'm sure he has. Listen, I can help you free the akuma and get you back to your mother safely-"
A bubbling chemical concoction started to rumble in the lab kitchen area close by. The boy's smile faded entirely. "No- It's not ready yet! I still haven't added sulfur to dull the effects-" The akumatized child ran to the solution. The pink butterfly symbol appeared over the child's eyes and the child shouted. "You have to leave Hawkmoth- before it affects your powers too-"
There was a flash of purple light and the child was de-evilized. The boy fell to his knees in exaustion, dressed in his cardboard replica of a space suit atop his pajamas. The dark butterfly was purified again instantaneously, then started to flap lazily around the cabin.
Chat Noir helped the boy to his feet. "Easy there champ-" His cat ears twitched and he glanced at the foaming orange solution that briefly went silent. His green feline eyes widened to their fullest extent in alarm, knowing what would come next. He guided the boy to stand next to Ladybug, and hugged them both at once to shield them with his back. He screamed. "CLOSE YOUR EYES!"
Ladybug and the read haired child obeyed before the chemical potion- exploded.
