Chapter 3
My dad had called me and because he needed my help and wanted to discuss something with me before he did it.
He picked me up from Derek's loft or should I say my loft.
I climb into the car.
"Visiting Derek?" He questions.
"No, new living arrangement." I answer.
He peeks over at me from the driver seat.
"Something happen with Scott?"
"Yeah." I rub my face.
"Dinner?" Dad offers.
"Please." I reply

We pull up to Beacon Grill. The restaurant we haven't been to sine before my mom died.
We walked into the brightly lit restaurant and with the smell of steak and fries in the air.
A petite blonde hostess comes up to us. "Hi welcome to Beacon Grill. How many?"
"Two please." Dad answers.
We are seated in a booth. "Your waitress will be right with you."
I pull my green army jacket and Beanie off my head as Dad takes his leather jacket off.
Another woman comes through she's closer in age to Melissa but with a bob of red hair.
"Hi, I'm Miranda I'll be your server. Can I start you on some drinks?"
"I'll take a beer." Dad replies.
"Coke please." I answer.
"Great I'll be right back with those."
She walks away to grab our drinks.
"So what's going on?" I ask.
"I saw something down there in those tunnels it was a painting and if I'm right about what is coming. We'll need help."
I nod. "I spoke with Theo and his pack is back from the dead."
"The Chimera's?"
I nod.
We halt our conversation when the waitress comes back. She places our drinks in front of us.
"Can I take your order?"
"Emily you wanna start?'
"I'll take a chicken quesadilla."
"And for you hon?"
"Steak medium rare, side of garlic potatoes."
She takes our menus. "I'll put that right in for ya."
"So did he let anything slip about what we're dealing with?"
"Something dangerous and unlike anything we've seen before." I reply.
He nods and takes a sip of his beer.
"The Dread Doctors."
"I know someone who knows more than I do about this particular problem."
"Who?"
"Someone dangerous and there's a supply of yellow wolfsbane still. That could cure someone we wouldn't normally a line ourselves with, but they may be more useful if they aren't sitting in a nursing home bleeding black fluid."
