No one's POV
"Sunghoon, what are we?" Jake asked while looking deeply into Sunghoon's eyes. Sunghoon panicked internally and Jake staring at him was no help at all. "We're best friends".
Sunghoon's POV
'WTF DID I JUST SAY' I thought to myself, I mentally slapped myself for saying that, I actually broke my own heart. Why would Jake even ask that? I can see the disappointment in Jake's eyes but I ignored it for a while.
He was then breaking the hug but I pulled him closer "Stay" I whispered, "do 'BESTFRIENDS' do this?" Jake asked, "Of course they do" I was internally screaming and breaking down at some point. I was brought out of my panicked state when Jake hugged me tighter while muttering an 'OK' on my chest. I then returned the hug and we eventually fell asleep, In the morning, yes we fell asleep again. It was too comfortable to resist.
We slept like that for a while before Jake's brother, Felix hyung, barged in. "WAKE UP LOVEBIRDS" he screamed startling both of us, "~hyung stop~," Jake said weakly while snuggling deeper into my chest. "mom said that they will be out for a while and be back tomorrow night" Felix hyung informed, Jake just gave a thumbs-up, and I saw Felix grinning at us before leaving the room.
"so what are we going to do today?" I asked Jake "Sleep" Jake answered while giggling in my chest, it made me giggle as well and I decided to nuzzle Jake's hair.
After an hour of skinship, we decided to watch a movie on Netflix while on the bed. We watched a variety of movies and some baking shows before agreeing on heading downstairs for lunch.
"How about we eat outside," Jake said while heading to the door. I nodded in agreement. We chose to eat lunch in KFC and so we did. After eating, I then thought of a Great Idea. "Jake how about we eat dinner at my house, so that I'll be able to introduce you to my family, and we could do a sleepover there as well" I suggested, "Sure, that would be great, I always wanted to meet your cute little sister" he answered.
We now headed back to our home, well, Jake's home in particular but never the less, Ours ehe. As we entered we saw Felix hyung doing dome kind of homework, I think. "Hyung I will be sleeping at Sunghoon's house tonight" Jake informed his brother, "Yeah sure", and so we prepared.
it was now almost 5 pm, so I decided to call my mom to inform her about our plan. We were now on our way to our house.
Jake's POV
as I entered the house I was welcomed by a warm hug by a girl, Sunghoon's sister. "Welcome Jake Oppa" I smiled and ruffled her hair, "Nice to met you Yeji!" I said energetically.
Sunghoon's POV
"Welcome Jake," my mom said, "Good evening Ms. Park" "Oh Stop, just call me Mom, that's easier right?" My mom said while eyeing me, "looks like our moms will get along pretty well" Jake whispered to me which made me chuckle. "What was that honey?" My mom asked Jake, "Nothing Mom'" I can see that Jake has a little bit of pink tint on his cheeks but still visible.
Jake's POV
It was now time for dinner and it was now PAYBACK TIME, "So 'mom' how was Sunghoon as a kid?" heheheh this will work out fine, Sunghoon looked at me with precision while signaling her mom to stop, but just like my mom, you know what happened. Embarrassing Sunghoon moments lasted on and on and on and on, and I thought I did embarrassing stuff.
After Sunghoon turning red for the whole dinner, we now settled in his room to prepare for sleep. "Jake how about you go wash up first, I'll get you some clothes while you do so" I nodded in response to what Sunghoon said, I continued to wash myself up.
"Jake, I'll place the clothes on the bed for you to change, I'll wash up in the other room" Sunghoon informed me "A'ight" I answered. As I wore the clothes, they were a bit bigger than me but it feels really comfortable so it's fine.
I was sitting on the bed waiting for Sunghoon so I scanned the whole room for a while. I heard a knock on the door, "Jake, are you done?" I answered with a yes and he entered. He was now staring at me like WHY?. "why are you staring at me? something the matter?" I asked while tilting my head, "No, No it's just that you look so cute in my clothes" Sunghoon explained which made me blush, and Sunghoon chuckled at my reaction, UHHH why did I bother asking.
I flopped on the bed, back against the cushion, and without any warning, Sunghoon did the same landing on ME, he hugged me as he crashed on my chest so I definitely hugged back, even though he only sees me as a best friend, we'll work on that later.
after 30 minutes of hugging, Sunghoon finally decided to let go, "want to watch a movie?" I shook my head cause I definitely am not in the mood for movies. "do you have board games?" I asked. Sunghoon made his way to his closet and got a chessboard, so like any normal human being, We played chess.
"YES, CHECKMATE FOR THE 3RD TIME HAHAHAHHA" I yelled at him and I saw him sulking while I did my victory dance, as I was dancing happily, I felt two hands by my stomach, and little did I know "AHHHH Su-ngho-on, Sto-op I'm T-ickli-sh" I pleaded cause I'm really ticklish if you're not aware. "Not a chance" Sunghoon answered determined while I was laughing hard.
We soon landed on the bed after 10 min of tickling, and I was sure to be exhausted. Sunghoon then hugged me closer, my head was leveled with his neck which made me look up to see Sunghoon staring at me.
We stared at each other for a while before Sunghoon spoke "Jake" I hummed in response "I love you" As I was about to process what he said, I felt a warm feeling on my lips. 'AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH FINALLY' Yes I was internally screaming.
After that kiss, my FIRST KISS, Sunghoon stared at me again, and without any word, It was now my turn to kiss him. He was caught off guard by my action but returned the kiss as soon as he realized the moment.
The kiss was full of love and passion. we broke it as we needed air, curse the needs of human beings. He was now smiling at me with loving eyes. "Sunghoon? What are we?" I asked, "Humans of course, oh wait NO, your a dog woof" ISTG what just happened, uh I'd prefer 'best friends' more hmp. "hehe kidding".
