Chapter 22

Izzy's POV:

I wake up and I go to wake Alyssa up too.

After I wake Alyssa up I go to wake up Ally's but she's not there.

Maybe she went to the boys house or to the store.

I go downstairs to make breakfast and see a note on the table.

Alyssa comes down stairs and comes over to me. I pick up the note.

"What does it say?" Alyssa asks.

I read the note out loud:

Hey guys. I'm sorry but I'm leaving. I'm getting on a plane and going somewhere. I'm not going to tell you where because you'll come looking for me. I'm sorry I had to do this but I think it's for the best. I'm leavings past behind. I'll come back when the time is right. By he time you read this I will have already arrived at my destination. I'm sorry. This is not good bye. See ya later.

I loo up at Alyssa and she's crying.

"I'm going to kick Ricky's ass!" She yells falling to the floor crying.

I comfort her but it's hard when your crying too.

Our best friend is gone.

Ricky's POV:

I'm such an idiot.

How could I do this to someone I love.

I hear a knock at the front door but I remain in my room crying.

I hear people crying so I decide I should go see what's happening.

I walk down stairs and see Izzy and Alyssa crying holding a note.

"This is all your fault!" Izzy yells.

What happened?

Is Ally okay?

So many questions running through my head.

"Ally's gone. She left and she didn't tell anyone where. Read this." Alyssa says handing me a note.

After I'm done reading the note I break down crying again.

Everyone is crying now.

I hate myself.

I run up to my room and get the razor I haven't used for years.

I make at least 6 cuts across each arm.

I bandage them and go back downstairs.

"Where could she have gone?" I ask.

"I don't know." They reply.

"Where has she always wanted to go?" I ask.

"The only place she mentioned to us was here in California. So I have no idea." They say.

Izzy's right.

This is all my fault.
