Chapter 5 Let's train for the tournament

Sorry I'm a bit late I had to know what day was what so I can know what is a good time for the thing to go correctly so Sero's next date is gonna be a Tuesday. The part where Izuku's father came by was on a Wednesday. The tournament is gonna start on a Thursday so today right now would be Friday but for Katsumi and Denka's part of the story it starts at Wednesday so it will begin on a Thursday. Got it? Me neither lets go.

Friday

In the good afternoon in UA there was a training center that was currently being used by class 1-A's star student and OFA user Izuku Midoriya who was training into using his quirk better for an upcoming tournament coming up. When his friends Uraraka and Iida asked him if he would like to join with them to a little festival near the city, he had declined explaining to them that he had to train for a tournament which surprised Uraraka as she joined in. She explained her reason to go was to win the prize money for her parents and asked if she can join with him. He agreed as it would be great to have a partner, right now Izuku was found on the floor with Uraraka sitting on him pulling a bit on his legs.

Izuku: I yield! *taps the floor*

As he said that Uraraka lets go and falls next to him sweating and panting heavily. She turns her body to face Izuku who was sweating and panting as well.

Uraraka: So *pant* how much *pant* wins was that?

Izuku: I think*pant* Me 7 *pant* you 3

Uraraka: Hey *pant* I'm surprised that *pant* I have wins *breaths in deep* Seriously Deku-kun you are pretty strong

Izuku: Don't give me all the credit your pretty strong too.

Uraraka: Yeah but nothing on your level you have the most advanced super human strength quirk I have ever seen.

Izuku: Still give yourself credit I don't know many villains who can keep up with me maybe you could've stopped them yourself~

Uraraka: Hahaha with lady luck by my side maybe but I still don't know why you want to join in the tournament? You've never said you family was in trouble with money?

Izuku: W-Well it isn't for the money... *looks away from her* Its for something else...

Uraraka: *smug face* Oh~ Is it a girl~

Izuku: No not that. Its something that is better kept off private. But there's something that I can say *raises fist and clenches it hard* I will win no matter what.

Uraraka: Well then you better watch out cause I'm not giving up neither!

As the two got back up Izuku saw on his phone that it was and that he was needed to back home. As he was thinking on who would be on the tournament to be prepared for upcoming fights as he turned on the TV  looking for news. A channel with a news headline catches his eyes, it was of a big celebrity hero called 'PowerUp' who was joining in the tournament. Izuku doesn't really like those people but his quirk was of kinetic absorption meaning if he gets punched nothing happens and can power it up for a greater impact. He takes notes of the hero and to see his weaknesses and to see if he can exploit them.

He stops midway writing and thinks if he was really gonna do this just to win. Then he remembers that he has to win. He notices that the news changed to a new update to the tournament. Turning up the volume to listen better about new details about the tournaments and the fights.

Reporter: So Mr. Doug Dimmadome any new details about the tournament that your fans or fighters would like to know about?

Doug: Yes. As this is a tournament obviously there will be matches made but since I could only afford for  about 1 and a half hours there will be 7 matches of 6 minutes. As said everyone here is allowed to use their quirks and must be noted to have learn Martial Arts. The prize money will go as advised 1st place gets 300,000 ¥ 2nd place 200,000 ¥ 3rd and 4th place gets 100,000¥.

Reporter: That's very interesting and did you know that a few heroes are joining your tournament? Do you think you have the preparations incase they blow up the stage?

Doug: Yes we did and so the fighters will be in a special dome that has been built to even withstand All Might's punch on his prime.

Reporter: Well thank you for your time unfortunately thats all time we have-

Beep

Izuku turned off the TV and grabbed his phone to scroll through his contacts until he stopped on a certain one and called them.

Time skip
Saturday

On the same beach that Izuku had trained we see Izuku on his gym clothes doing some stretches. He does this for a while until he sees someone with a hoodie coming towards him leaving a duffle bag on the ground. He saw the person take off the hoodies to reveal it was Kendo Itsuka a classmate from 1-B who owned him a favor after helping her out to move some stuff for the teachers.

Itsuka: Hey there Midoriya so are you ready to learn Martial Arts?! *happy*

Izuku: You bet. Thanks for helping me Itsuka I really needed someone to help for the tournament and I shouldn't ask Uraraka as its probably best that we train on our on now.

Itsuka: No problem I owed you one now after this were even.

The training for Izuku to learn Martial Arts starts now. First thing Itsuka made Izuku do was to do some stretches so that way he wouldn't sprain a muscle. Next she taught him the basics of some self defense and offense. Then she told Izuku to spar with her without his quirk and got his ass handed to him. 2 hours later and we see Izuku on the ground with Itsuka sitting on him smilling.

Itsuka: You do know that if Monoma sees this he would be happy as a kid on a candy store right?

Izuku: Yeah I know. But this was a good first class!

Itsuka: Yep and for now until the tournament you are gonna call me Sensei Kendo! *points at him* got it!

Izuku: Yes Sensei Kendo!
