I woke up still feeling a little off because of the nightmare. It was weird. Nothing I have ever dreamed before. Today was an office party so I am glad there is no work.
It was in the evening and I had nothing to do so, I started to read one of my books. I love to read books.
It was afternoon when I decided to take a bath. Nishant was still asleep.

I took a long bath, dressed and went downstairs to find Nishant making brunch. Sandwiches.
We ate and then decided to dress up for the party. It was at 4:00.
Time passed quickly.
We reached the office and Nishant and I sticked together the entire time.
We talked with Rivanya and other colleagues. It was nice. Then Nishant and I went to the bar.
Someone came to Nishant and whispered something in his ear.
"I have to go. I am sorry. I'll come soon."
"Alright."

I gulped down my first drink. A man came and sat next to me.
"Hello."
"Hi."
"So how is someone like you sitting here all by yourself?"
"Well, someone like me is waiting for someone, over here."
"Oh,how about we get a drink?"
"Sure."
We talked and he was not that bad. He was not a man of many words. He looked familiar as if we knew each other for a long time.
"By the way, can I ask you something?"
"Yes"
"What is your name?"
He laughed.
"My name is Parth."
"My name is Maulvi."
We talked more and more.

After a while Nishant joined us, jealously evident on his face.
Parth soon left after he came.
They did not have a nice first impression.

When Parth left, Nishant said,"What was that about?"
"What was what about?"
"Why was he here?"
"Are you jealous?"
"Of course. I was. Did you look the way he was ogling you?"
"He wasnt 'ogling' me."
"Alright fine."

Soon the party was coming to an end.
Nishant wanted to dance but I was to shy to do so. Parth was nowhere to be seen. I haven't seen him since he left us near the bar.

We were on our way to the car to go back home when Nishant said,
"I need to talk to you about something."
"And what is that?"
"I have to leave for a week to Delhi. Office work."
"Oh." It was all I could say.
