The MHA light novels are basically side stories Hori wishes he could fit into the manga but can't squeeze in. You can consider them canon!

"- Deku knew well that he and Kacchan are polar opposites. But even so, Deku couldn't imagine a world in which Kacchan doesn't exist."
(Bye, that's the most romantic line ever!)
It's just like All Might said after Deku vs. Kacchan 2. Win to save, save to win. That's bkdk's whole motif!
I don't have a lot to say here... It's practically all written out lol.
Deku can't imagine a world in which Kacchan doesn't exist. That's canon. That's fact.
And the lines before this chunk of text also hint that Bakugou feels the same toward Deku!
"- After finishing their prayers, Deku looked at Kacchan, 'What did you wish for?'
'Shut up.'
"- Even with Kacchan's sulking expression seen from the side, Deku felt that they had wished for the same thing."
Of course we have Bakugou's almost tsundere nature, but besides that, the line, "They had wished for the same thing," gives off the impression that Horikoshi is kind of telling us, "Hey, Bakugou feels the same despite his words."
Bakugou has always shown how he felt more through actions rather than words. Especially as of late.
Bkdk are kind of like yin and yang! I'll save my words here for a future part to this book though! >:)
