A Glow Stick Breaks before it glows, but what if it breaks too much it snaps. Hey my name is Brielle but you can call me Elley and this is my story.
On the 28th of November 2002 at Hydrostone hospital there was a beautiful baby girl and her mother struggling to care for herself and her child. Being the young and homeless teen she was, she thought it was best for her child's future to live without her, but boy was she wrong.
During the night the mum went into the bathroom when her baby was asleep and snuck out through the window and ran deep into the night's cold air never to return to her baby again.
Ever wonder what happened to that little innocent baby girl with her mother kissing her forehead one last time to say goodbye? Well let me tell you, sometimes I wonder the same thing. I am that Baby and I am about to tell you that leaving me was a big mistake.
'Brielle wake up, it's time to go to school'. I groaned and rolled over, ' I am too tired, can I just stay at home today?'. 'No Elley you know that you have to go, and besides if we leave now then we can even get a hot chocolate on the way there'. I shot straight up and sprinted into the bathroom to get ready for the day. Now I know you are probably wondering who that was, well when I was around 13 years old, I was adopted by a loving family called the Johnsons. I am now known as Brielle Rose Johnson the first and only daughter of the Jonhson family.
I decided to wear a baby blue sweater and some black tights with some white Nike shoes to top it all of. At school you could say I am a nerd, My brother Noah is the complete opposite to me, he is the captain of the football team and has a new fling every week, he is kinda disgusting but lucky for me he is my brother and I will never ever no matter what, be one of his girls.
We hopped in the car and started to head off to Olivers which is a beautiful cafe around the corner from my school. My mum is kinda like my best friend seeing as the only friend i do have has been my friend since the orphanage days. Her name is Olivia but I call her Olley and she was adopted around the same time I was. At first she lived all the way in Perth, but a few years ago her family moved back to NSW to be closer to family.
We were singing to the song Blinding Lights by the weekend, when the next thing I knew I was screaming STOP and then I blacked out.
