Breaking Point

CHAPTER 10:

I woke up with a pounding headache and my whole body was aching. I opened my eyes only to see that I was in a beautiful, luxurious bedroom with light grey walls, a big King size bed that feels like fluffy clouds, a walk-in closet and an esuite. I was currently laying on the fluffy cloud and just taking in the stunning room. On the side table next to the bed was a note and some pills, which I am assuming are ibuprofen tablets.

The note read:

For your headache :)

That's odd, who would give me medicine for a headache if they are the ones that caused it, and that's when it all started coming back to me. The running and the men in masks with the cloth and the staircase. Those Bastards, what's so special about me that that had to beat me up, then take me to this mansion (i am assuming) and give me medicine for the headache that they caused. I took the pills and looked around the room. It was huge, i was very shocked to see that inside the walk-in wardrobe there were shelves and draws filled with clothes and shoes all my size, there was also a vanity that had a huge mirror with lights and drawers filled with makeup and beauty products that I would normally never use since the only makeup i would wear was concealer.

Once i was done looking around i decided to go downstairs, but just as i was about to open the door, somebody beat me to it. It was the man from the cafe who asked me about the bruises on my neck. "Hello," i said in a sarcastic voice, " Go sit down, the doctor will be here shortly," he said in a deep annoyed voice, "Bossy Boots." i said quietly but loud enough so that he could hear me.

~ Jaxons POV ~

It had been a few hours since Thomas and Angelo brought Brielle home. Since she will be staying with us from now on, i asked my maids to clean up one of the bigger spare bedrooms and to bring in all of the clothes that they bought for her into the walk-in closet.

She had been sleeping upstairs for a while now so i decided to go up with the doctor and check on her. As soon as i opened the door, there stood Brielle with that goofy smile on her face just like how her mother used to when she was younger. "Hello," she said in a very sarcastic voice, "Go sit down, the doctor will be here shortly," I said, a bit annoyed. Just as she walked away she said "Bossy Boots" under her breath quietly, but not quite enough. I swear she is the spitting image of her mother.

The Doctor finally came but before he checked on her, he asked me to leave. Well it's been 10 minutes since i got kicked out of my own room, when finally the doctor came out and began to tell me what he found out. "Jaxon, she has bruised ribs, and bruises all over her stomach and face. She also has some old scars and burns that make me believe that she has been abused", "Thank you Doc". I cannot believe that she has been abused.

I will hunt them down and make them wish they never touched Brielle!
