"you did what— " haeyeon left her mouth hanging wide open when she heard about the many interesting stories that her new friend, bora was telling her about
she and bora had gotten close once they started getting to know each other better. it was like they were fated to meet best friends!
"i can't believe you would do that!!" she started clapping her hands like a seal and her dimples plastered on either side of her cheeks
"yeah it was so fun— we should go sometime!" both squealed as she thought of going on fun holiday with just the two of them
"omggg! that sounds amazing!" haeyeon nodded her head frantically as she rolled on her bed until her legs touched the ground

"i'm going to go down and get some snacks, i'll be right back" bora nodded as haeyeon walked out of her bedroom, closing the door behind her
haechan stepped into the house and sat down to untie his laces, being by yourself with crutches can be a little tiring without any help
he had been wondering where his sister was until he saw her pair of school shoes by the shoe shelf, along with another pair of sneakers
it looked too new, probably the expensive kind, he thought as he got on his crutches again and walked towards the sofa, throwing his bag on the floor
when he was about to yell her name, haeyeon emerged from the staircase, with a small smile on her face. "oh hey hyuckie, you're back" she skipped towards him
"why didn't you tell me you went home first, i was left there stranded for ten minutes.." haechan pouted at his twin
"shit sorry hyuckie.. i kinda forgot about you"
haechan gasped at her with a hurt expression, "how can you forget about your own brother?? i'm hurt yeon" instead of 'comforting him', haeyeon started laughing and a smile appeared on her face
the exaggerated hurt expression was soon replaced with his signature smile; whenever he saw his sister happy, he would be happy too, vise versa!
"and what's got you all smiley today? did something good happen that you forgot all me at that" he asked as his sister seemed like she wanted to tell someone about her day
"oh that.. i walked home with a friend from geog, she's super nice and really pretty, and she even sa— "
she paused her sentence not wanting to tell him about the getting bullied, otherwise he would for sure make a scene tomorrow
