dad: yeon, i'm outside your school dad: i was hoping to have lunch with you
yeon: ohh ok yeon: coming dad
they went to a restaurant nearby and ordered some food
"how's school been? coping well?" he started
haeyeon smiled, "it's been great, i've made so many nice people. hyuck is here, mum is here and now you're here"
"that's nice to know.."
"oh yeahhh how long will your trip be here for??" she started digging into her food
"i'm actually leaving in a week.. back to the states..." haeyeon's smile dropped a little
she was hoping that this trip could help her dad reunite with their mum so everything might have a chance to fall into place
"ohhh i see..."
"yeah.. i have to go back... for my wedding"
she looked shocked as she suddenly had a loss of appetite, "wedding? you're getting married...?"
"yeahh... and i was hoping you'll come back with me..? it will be really nice for you to meet my fiance, and be the maid of honour"
haeyeon looked down on the table as her dad excitedly talked about the plans for his wedding and his fiance that she had no clue about
"it's only been two days since you got here and you're already planning to bring me back for your wedding????"
"i've already booked the tickets for us to go.."

she put down the fork she was holding
"so this trip was just to ask me to go back with you? after everything... and now you suddenly want me to attend your wedding and meet your fiance???"
"yes and no, i was here for a few work meetings, to settle the wedding arrangements and i also hoped that you would go back with me..."
"i can't believe you think that i could be dumped and picked up whenever you want. i have a life here now, i have friends, mum and hyuck are here, i can't just leave them right?"
