Christine went to bed after watching about the entirety of Friends. It was at least two AM, but at least she didn't have work tomorrow. So she lay comfortably in her warm sheets and tried to sleep. Of course, with the events of today (or, rather, yesterday) she couldn't stop thinking about Dan. She just sucked it up and slept.

Christine: "Does he think im weird if I text?": a memoir by christine leusk

Dan: you're not weird. your last name is leusk? what

Christine: leoosk if you need to pronounce it. what's your last name then?

Dan: Howell. it's easy to say and spell

Christine: Oh i see

Dan: see what?

Christine: See how it is. Dan Howell like not on fire?

Dan: uhhh yes

Christine: What if you were actually brendon urie? like you just pretended to be Dan

Dan: yeah it's actually Brendon Urie and Patrick Stump and Gerard Way

Christine: My chemical romance is DEAD, Dan

Dan: i can't hear you over my black parade

Christine: What if i was lying about being Christine

Dan: well lying is the most fun a girl can have without taking her clothes off, you know?

Christine: I trusted you but you're just here to say emo songs

It took a while before Dan responded. He was probably busy or something. However, that didn't stop Christine for thinking that she did something wrong. She sighed and set the phone down, going to do something productive with herself. Which meant watching more Netflix movies.

Then, she heard a buzz. She looked at her phone, far away on the counter, with a potato chip in her hand and a bowl full of it on her lap. She turned the TV off and made an odd, disappointed noise when she saw that it wasn't a text from Dan. It was actually Facebook. She checked the notification as she chewed her snack.

Dan Howell sent a friend request

Of course, she confirmed and smirked to herself. She sent a message.

Christine Leusk: and yet you dont answer my texts? :)
