We were walking to his ship when the sound of cannon was heard, followed by the sound of falling rocks. We stopped, from the corner of my eyes I saw the skeletons continuing to prepare the ship while the humans also stopped, taking their guns and aiming them at the cave entrance - like that could help them.

I was pulled against him as he chanted something under his breath, and then the ground began to shake. the skeleton hands were breaking the dirt, pulling their bodies up.
>>Give them a sign!<< Matthew yelled. His second in hand began to run to the back of the cave and disappeared from my sight.
He pulled me on the ship while the skeletons in the under part were firing cannons, trying to hit Edwards and Harry's ship. Once we were on board, we started to move. I was pushed into the cabin, and Matthew locked the doors. I wanted to look out of the window but there was none. I sat on the floor, praying to the gods we were going to survive.
