The kamado parents were warned that at some point in their sons life, Tanjiro, would have Somniphobia. But worse than most. When he would sleep he would have terrible nightmares resulting in him waking up screaming or with a panic attack.

I've come to notice that i live next to Tanjiro, which obviously isn't an everyday thing for everybody. I was looking outside my window and i noticed he was taking some time of pill. I thought it was strange considering it doesn't look like any "Regular" type of pill. But its none of my business. I laid down on my bed over the covers. I was about to close my eyes but then i heard him speak.
"It's started.."
He sighed.
"Hopefully it'll work"
'What does he mean it's started?' I thought. But before i could ask anymore my eyes felt droopy, causing me to slip into unconsciousness.
The next day
I was kind of mad considering that there are some new people coming into the school. Why was i mad? because we always have to wear our uniform on that day. I got dressed and put some head phones.

I walked out the door despite my non-blood related brother, Kaigaku, shouting at me to eat before i left. When i exited the door i heard another one shut, over to my left was Tanjiro. When he turned around he was shocked to see that i lived next to him. He ran over to me and smile.
"I didn't know you lived here!" He said while pointing at my house.
"Neither did i. Until yesterday anyway."
He seemed confused by that. I began to walk to the school and decided that i'd talk on the way there.
"I saw you taking some pills through my window. What were they?" I asked looking at him. I saw sweat drip down his head.
"They were pain killers.... I-I had a migraine?...." He said with a nervous smile. I just chuckled because i knew he was lying but i didn't want to be nosy. Since then we sat in a comfortable since with only the sound of our breathing interrupting it. But then i suddenly sneezed.
'Someone talking about me'
I looked over at Tanjiro to see him muttering so quietly not even i can hear him though i didn't dwell on it. I nudged his shoulder snapping him out of his trance, he was confused until i pointed at the school's doors. He made an 'O' shape with his mouth in which i couldn't help but laugh at.
"H-HEY! DONT LAUGH AT ME!" He yelled with a red face and pointing at me. I couldn't help but laugh more at how ridiculous he looked.
