Silva Blackstone

"Steel!" I feel my body lunge forward without a second thought trying to get to my brother's side. Hands wrap around me pulling me back making me trip backwards falling to the dirt.

"No one move!" Mr. Stoks extends his wings completely out barracking us away from the monster ahead.

"What the hell is that thing?" I look up at Abba standing behind me staring at the monster with fear.

"It's a Hallow. An ancient spirit that leads the Voids. I heard there only three Hallows left, they aren't supposed to leave the Hollow lands to prevent extinction." Allura speaks up low as she tiptoes closer to get a better look at the thing. Steel and her have always been weirdly into the voids. Always sneaking off to the Divine library reading books about the cursed Spirits.

I stand myself up pushing past Geo and Sparky looking over Mr. Stoks wings. I bite my lip as I stare at the black misty figure completely over Steel's body. The sharp long claws pressing against Steel's neck drawing dribbles of blood. "Woah, Steel eyes are glowing." I look at Steel's face seeing that his eyes are glowing but not the usual glow that it does when we use our powers.

"Why are they violet?" I look beside me staring at Allura for an answer.

"What? Why are all of you looking at me like I know everything." Allura raises her hands and backs away.

"Shouldn't you know? You and Steel always snuck in the library for books about them." I glare at Allura. There at least had mentions of stuff about glowing eyes out of the hundreds of books they read.

"There was no mention of glowing eyes! There aren't many books on Hollows only voids." Allura huffs looking past me staring at the beast and Steel limp body. Suddenly the beast looks up at the sky letting out an ear-piercing snarl. The black misty figure of the beast disintegrates into the air.

Once the black smoke is gone, I run under Mr. Stoks wings making my way to Steel. I slid on the dirt and pressed my hand on to steel chest.

"Don't touch him!" A strong force throws me back making me skid in the dirt. Mr. Stoks quickly pulls me back as the ground in front of me feet open up like quicksand.

"Everybody back!" Mr. Stoks yells as he picks me up by my arms pulling me along. I trash my body in Mr. Stock's grip. I can't leave my brother!

I freeze as I watch something crawl out of the hole in the ground. My mouth drops as I watch a woman rise out of the ground. "She's hot." Sparky says a way to loudly making the woman bring her attention to us.

"I'm flattered." The woman speaks with what sounds like a tangy mix between a Jamaican and New Orleans accent to her. She let her gaze fall down to Steel then back to us.

"Who are you?" Mr. Stoks speaks up pushing me behind Sparky and I behind him. I watch as Mr. Stoks wings exited farther out as if he ready to fight.

"No need to get hostile Ladon," Ladon? Is that Mr. Stoks first name? How would she know that? "Since you asked, my name is Oizys Daughter of Nyz Goddess of night." My mouth drapes open hearing who her mother is. Nyx? One of the first personified deities to exist. Even grandpa Zeus won't dare to cross her. Men and Gods petrified of her; she is that powerful alone. I can't even imagine her father Chaos.

"Why are you interfering? What's so special about tonight?" Mr. Stoks is standing in front of us not backing down. He is a pretty damn good teacher for him still be standing here anyone in their right mind would leave once her mother was mentioned. Everyone knows the children of the personified deities do their parents bidding while they stay in their own domains.
