"Are you ready?"

I look up to see Silva standing in my doorway with his bags all packed. I nodded my head as I threw the last pieces of clothing in my suitcase, zipping it up. I gather my bags off the bed leaving my room slowly. damn, this is really going to be the last time I'm going to be in my own room. I look around the freshly cleaned room one more last time before making my way downstairs. walking down the long stairwell I place my bags down into the living room.

"Boys? Are you all packed?" I look up from the white marble floor as my mother walks in. I sighed and nodded my head. "Come here Steel," she extends her hand out for me, I reach out grasping her small hand in mine. She sits down on the stairs pulling me down next to her. "I know this is hard for you two going into this new scary environment, especially for you," I look away from her soft eyes as she is probably thinking back about the day, the day I truly learned how evil the humans are. "I know as long as you two have each other you'll be safe, you'll two protect each other to the end. just like me and your father will." I scoff at the mention of father, like hell he is.

"If he protects us so much, why didn't he get us out of the draw? you know how much we struggle here in the Garden; it will be just even more difficult having to worry if it's going to be our own people or the humans trying to harm us." mother wraps her arm around my shoulder pulling me close to her hugging me.

"I know," I glance up, seeing that her eyes have glossed up. "Trust me I tried to get you two out but Ryuu refused to budge on it. He said it wouldn't be fair to any of the other Divine, especially to the ones whose children died during the battles." I sighed out; I can see where people would get pissed about that. "Promise me you watch out for your brother, okay?" I nod my head and my pointer finger. She laughs quietly and wraps her pinky around my finger. I joined in with her laughing, it's quite weird I know, but since I was a kid, I just always wrapped my pointer finger with hers because I didn't want to do the typical pinky promise. if I was going to be considered a weird freak by everyone might as well stick to it as best as I can. What great logic thinking of a 4 year old.

"Do you know where the school is at mom?" I ask her as I stand up.

"Yeah, it's on the border between Caecidi (Cha-Chi-Dee) and Mundane land," I nodded my head. At least we're not completely stuck in human territory. "Alright, you boys should start walking to the meeting point with everyone else," I feel a hard tug on my shirt dragging me down.

"Mwah" my mom plants a kiss on my cheek then does the same to Silva. "Now go before you get left." I open the front door and pick my bags up walking.

"We love you!" Silva shouts as we begin our walk to the community hall. Walking through the field full of all different kinds of flowers. Our home is one of the few homes that is actually in the Divinity Garden, all the others are at the border of it. Other than the couple of other homes that's in the Garden the community hall where our meetings are is in the dead center of the Garden. I look up, taking my attention away from all the bright and pastel colors that spread all around us. I finally saw the familiar ancient Greek structure building in view, this damn walk seemed like it took a lifetime.

"STEEL!" my eyes shut as something hard hits my stomach tackling me down to the ground with a loud thud. "Man, I missed Ya!" I open my eyes to see one of my best friends straddling me smiling down at me.

"Geo. . . off" I glared at him as he just ignored me.

"Oh, right sorry I forgot you're not much of a bottom" Geo gives me his signature sheepish grin. I balled my hand into a fist and punched Geo in the chest knocking him off me. I swear sometimes he irks my soul.
