"You're not going to become perfect in a day, Maisie" the doctors and therapists say.
"I know, but it just seems like I can't change who I am" that's how I say: I am not changing who I am and who I want to be.
"Maisie, you have a disorder. There is something we can do about it, but you've just got to try a little harder." My therapist was not helping.
