I must have passed out at some point because I heard an alarm go off. It was 7:00 In the morning. I didn’t know who I was spending time with this week. I hoped it wasn’t Meche. I got dressed as if it was a date. There was a red dress in my small amount of clothes I had packed. While I was getting ready I decided to look in my closet and it was huge! It also had a machine like thing which I was guessing was for asking for clothes. I hung up my other clothes and put on my red dress for now. It was a Garnet red and went down to my ankle with a huge side cut on the left. I put on some simple mascara I had packed and Some black 2 inch heels. Walking out of my room quietly I heard a voice that sounded like Meches' voice which scared me. Was he serious about killing my mother?

Mustering up all my courage I started down the stairs. When I got to the bottom I looked around to see if anyone else was there. No one was there except Meche. I suddenly felt nervous like I was going to get hurt. I yelled out trying to seem calm “Where are you?”

Meche responded from my right “Living room.” I walked there as calmly as possible. He was in the corner of the room sitting at the edge of the couch. I sat on the opposite end. He started moving towards me and I stood up and backed away.

He frowned “Now why would you do that?”

I was stuttering my response “Y-You thr-threatened me.”

He acted stupid “What do you mean I thr-threatened you?” I wanted to say jerk cause he was making fun of me being scared. I started walking away up to my room. He grabbed my wrist and when I tried to wiggle my hand out of his grip he dragged me to the opposite corner of where he used to be sitting. He blocked me in the corner.

“Jerk!” I yelled out in protest but it only seemed to anger him more.

“Now don’t you go make me do anything to your poor mom!” He yelled at me. I started crying right there on the spot, I dragged myself down hiding my face into my knees. He let go of me.

“Why? Why are you doing this?” I said whimpering. He didn’t speak but sat down next to me. I tried to get up and he grabbed my wrist again and threw me down. Why did he have to be so strong?

We sat there for a few minutes and he said “We’re leaving for a date.” I groaned as he pulled me up off the ground.

“Be on your best behavior.” He spoke sternly as if I was a dog.

“I’m not a dog.” I spoke nervously but trying to seem bold. He smirked and started dragging me outside to his car. We both pressed our electronic chip things to make our noses seem normal.I hopped into the passenger side reluctantly. We drove wherever we were going in silence. When we got there I put on a happy place like I wasn’t in a bad situation. It was a brunch place I hadn’t been to yet obviously since we just moved.

Once inside and we got seated he tried to get to know me. I answered every question even if I didn’t want to, but I didn’t want my mom to get hurt. I ordered chocolate chip pancakes, and Meche didn’t get anything. He just kept on staring at me. I think other people noticed it too. Once I announced I was done he paid and we left. He didn’t leave a tip at all and he grabbed my hand faking like we were in a relationship.

When we got into the car I quietly said thank you in acknowledgement for him buying food for me. While we were in the car he tried sliding his hand up my thigh and I slapped his hand. I knew It was dangerous to do that since he was threatening my mothers life; but I wasn't going to let him touch me like that.

“Why’d you do that?!” Meche exclaimed acting stupid.

“You put your hands on me,” I spoke boldly hoping he wouldn’t do it again nor hurt my mom.
