Chapter 3 - An interesting introduction

To say Courtney was excited would be an understatement. She was so exctited, she went out and bought fresh underwear to wear to the dinner.

I had gotter Dan's number when I was talking to him so I texted him asking what we should wear.

He soon texted back 'just something casual'

We got dressed and knocked on their door at exactly 6.

"OH MY GOD! I'm in the presence of Gods!" Cortney was already on the floor. Dan and Phil chuckled and led us into their apartment.

It was slightly smaller than ours but that was because there were less people living there.

"Hey, do you need any help with anything?" I asked them.

"Oh, I was just about to start on the pasta, do you wanna help? Phil said to us.

"Yeah sure what do you want us to do?" Talia asked.

"Well actually I wanted to show you guys something." Dan interrupted

"Ok, well why don't Court and I help Phil and you go with Dan." Talia proposed.

"Ok, I'll show you watever it was later." Dan led me through to his room and I sat on his bed, not knowing what to do.

"Do you like pokemon?" Dan asked.

"Urm, well, uh..."

"I guess not. Thats ok. Hey, urm do you think Phil's having a god time with your friends?" Dan asked.

"You didn't want to show me anything did you?" I said.

"Well - no but I just wanted yo chat to you all without Phil being the center of attention as per usual." Dan explained.

"Well I have no idea why that is, I think you're way sexier than Phil!" I smiled cheekily. "To be honest I love you and your youtube chanel. I never thought I'd ever be able to meet you in person." Dan smiled.

"I'm glad you like my work." We sat in a nice silence before Dan spoke up again.

"Hey, do you have a boyfriend?"

"Oh, no." I sheepishly looked at Dan.

"Good - I mean, um, how about we go and get a coffee tomorrow" Dan looked embarrassed.

"Sure, 11?"

"Yeah I'll come and get you since you're a newbie with London." I laughed.

We went back into the kitchen we saw something we definately didn't expext to see.

"What the hell?!" Dan screamed.

"Who died?!" Talia came rushing into the room. "Ew ew ew ew ew! Cover your eyes children!"

Courtney and Phil pulled away from the make out session they were having.

"Sorry, we didn't see you there." Phil said.

"Yes - we can tell." Talia and I pulled Court away into the corridor, leaving Dan and Phil in a very awkward silence.

"What the f*ck?! I had dibs on Phil!" Talia scream-whispered.

"You can't put dibs on Phan!!!" I screamed.

"Shut up! They'll hear you! But Phil is so perfect! And we obviously couldn't put dibs on Dan, you were... doing stuff in his room." Court reasoned.

"First off, dibsing phan should be illegal. And second, Dan and I were not doing 'stuff' in his room. We were plainly chatting..." I paused for effect. "Which may have included chatting about going for coffee tomorrow, but thats no biggie, you were the ones kissing!" They stared at me in silence.

"What?" I asked.

"Oh, nothing, you're just a very fast worker." With that, Talia left, followed by Courtney.
