[Fight so dirty, but your love's so sweet
Talk so pretty, but your heart got teeth
Late night devil, put your hands on me
And never, never, never ever let go]

The next time Jungkook met Taehyung was again highly coincidental. He was on a mission in one of Seoul's busiest clubs. Namjoon was in his head – quite literally since the earpiece was set to be louder than the actual music in the club. He navigated Jungkook through the crowd to locate the victim of that night.

Jungkook tightened his hand around the bottle of beer while his other hand hovered over the silenced handgun hidden in his jacket. His gaze landed on the man of the evening, who, to Jungkook's preference, would be dead in an hour. The man was supposedly thirty-three years old and the nephew of a drug lord. He had kidnapped one of the higher-ups to take his place. The man hadn't expected anyone to find out – but his uncle did and now his uncle wanted him dead – without his nephew's death being able to be traced back to him. He was after all family, and if the drug lord's family came to know of the death – it wouldn't be pretty.

Jungkook knew what to do. Wait until the man disappears outside for a smoke, as he had done before, and then follow him outside through another exit. He'd be in an alleyway smoking and Jungkook would have a free shot at the man from a distance.

"Don't forget about the bartender" Namjoon's voice rang in his ear. "He'll have a break in about ten minutes and goes out for a smoke as well. If they find each other in that alleyway, your job will become a lot harder."

Jungkook moved to lean against one of the walls, his gaze flitting across the room but always with the man in the corner of his eye. At one point his stare landed on a boy that stood somewhere at the side, watching the people dance as he moved his hips slowly, seemingly not quite feeling the music.

Jungkook immediately recognized the boy he had shared a bed with about five weeks ago. Taehyung's hair had gone through a change, seeing as the tips were now dyed purple and his eyes were matching that color – still a fan of contact lenses, Jungkook thought. Taehyung wore a white flowy see-through shirt that was tucked into blue jeans. He looked different from the other night but he was obviously still as gorgeous as he had been before.

Jungkook felt his legs move on an impulse and suddenly he found himself only a few meters away from the boy. Jungkook wasn't sure what he was doing and apparently, Namjoon was puzzled as well.

"Jungkook, what are you doing? You've turned your back to Kim Wonho."

Jungkook moved half a circle so he was behind Taehyung, with his eyes now back on his victim. Without another thought, he stepped forward and tapped the boy onto the shoulder. Taehyung glanced over his shoulder, a seductive smile already forming on his lips as if he had been trained for this, but then it dropped when he recognized the person in front of him.

"You."

Jungkook felt incredibly awkward but didn't want to let it show so he pushed his confidence forward and replied, "You."

"What are you doing here?" Taehyung asked him, seemingly uninterested. It confused Jungkook as to why Taehyung acted this way. When he had left Taehyung in his apartment to go to work, everything seemed to have been completely fine between them but.... had something happened? Had he done something to offend the boy?

"I'm here for the same reason as you I suppose", Jungkook lied, his eyes still flickering between Taehyung and the dead man walking.

Taehyung scoffed at his words, his opinion about Jungkook still unchanged. Jungkook, married, was looking at a club for a hookup? How original, he thought, and how disgusting. Even though no confirmation had been made about Jungkook actually having a wife or husband, Taehyung assumed so anyway. He had a certain pride to uphold.
